  1. Alright I have been given this deer/wheaten X not long ago he's just turned a year old, keen enuff but wont bring what he catched back to me. soon as it stops moving he drops it and walks back to me. i'v tryed throwing rabbits for him and dummys he just runs up sniffs them and walks on. is it to late to get him retreving? has anyone else had this problem and sorted it? cheers, Tom
  2. Good course i did myself also, you can change estate each year if you want to and get different experience. my 1st year i did mainly pheasant and partridge with a bit of stalking and i reared and released some Red Grouse onto the moor. My 2nd year i did mainly Grouse with a lot more stalking and no pheasant or partridge. how did the reared and released some Red Grouse go? did they take to the ground?
  3. aye north highland is fine all you want to hear about is stalking. I went to borders college and did gamekeeping and most of the people got jobs at the end of it, I got a full time grouse job others got pheasant jobs as well as stalkers.
