  1. MG easiest way to play this is lay your cards on the table, show your hand, where did the info originate? [/quot OK PLEASE ASK WOODGA AND MR LONGDOG DID A DOG ATTACK A SHEEP YES OR NO why dont you have a think about it first..........who's dog are you accusing, which heat was it on, and who was running in that heat???? Have you got a 6 figure grid reference for the field, we could go and do some forensic examinations!!!!!
  2. Danny,Andrea isn't in,she's out so i can assure you it's DEFINATELY not her .. Alright then andy, i take it back!!!! will the real peter barton please stand up????
  3. LIAR AND IT DID BRING IT DOWN AS IF NOT YOU WOULD OF POSTED IT IN GOOD HUMOUR THE DAY AFTER Why would i post it and embarass someone on a public forum??? If you know so much about what went on, why do you need to ask about it???
  4. I'll lay this to rest!!!!! No sheep were killed and no sheep were brought down!!! A dog in one of the heats had a go at rounding them up, which came to no avail!!!! They are the facts of the matter, and facts which have nothing to do with you, whether you're peter barton, gail, andrea or any of the following!!! There will be no more answers on this matter, it was dealt with at the time, and thats that!!!!!!
  5. THIS SHOULD BE THE END OF THE MATTER LETS MOVE ON! ITS NOT TRUE THOUGH IS IT,MAYBE A SHEEP WAS NOT KILLEDBUT BROUGHT DOWN YES IT WAS AND INJURED and thats a sheep you've carried out an examination on is it????
  6. nice looking dog how old was it in the pic? 3 and half mate, had to be put down a month later!!!!! shame mate but as they say the good always die young. i bet he was hard to replace did you go for the same breeding? I've not replaced him yet, as i still have my other dog, but yeah would go for a similar breeding to him, hadfeet like steel toe caps and skin like leather, never had any cuts or knocked feet with him, would've liked him an inch an half shortermaybe, he stood 28 ins!!!
  7. nice looking dog how old was it in the pic? 3 and half mate, had to be put down a month later!!!!!
  8. He was very slow to mature, had deerhound in him too, deadly on larger game!!!!
  9. Nice little dog mate, its amazing what some people pick up, maybe they're evergreens!!!
  10. The lads who are in the comp, have all taken it for what it is, like you say a bit of fun and a chance to get out and meet some decent lads and see other dogs working!!!! The rules will be clearer for next time!! We've only got a few little bits to iron out and next year should be a bigger and better comp!!!!
  11. The ground has thawed out nicely round here!!! pavements a tad slippy in places, but other than that, all looking good!!!!
  12. Remember he'll be an individual too, what works for joe, dont work for john!!! You'll have to bond with the dog first, find out what makes him tick and use it to your advantage, if the dog responds to food rewards do that, if it responds to playing with toys or a ball do that!! Just make sure you always have alpha status over the dog, and dont move onto the next thing before you have sorted out the one you start!!! Also dont be put off if you have to go back a step or two, you'll hit stumbling blocks, just be patient, a dog i had didnt start to work properly till he was 3 years old, but my oth
  13. what you thinking about doing bud? Arboriculture mate!!!!

  16. Have you done your rope access for that job then??? Was looking at it the other week, seems alot of work, but good opportunities at the end!!!!!
  17. yeah he probably could, but people fit through dog flaps and not many lurchers are very guarding, a kennel would be easier mate, but its whatever suits you at the end of the day!!!!!!
  18. Yeah it is mate, mine are house trained but live in kennels, you'd only need a space of 10ft X 4ft for a kennel and run mate!!!!!
  19. Work is for losers and 'slaves' of gordon brown!!!!!!!!!! Only kidding, i've just stopped working at a job i had done for 12 years, and am setting up my own business, luckily though my lass works too so it gives us a bit of breathing space and time to get it up and running properly, but inbetween i'm a full time housewife......i mean husband........looking after my 7 month old daughter whilst she's hard at work, earning a crust for me to spend!!!!!!! Well they did say they wanted equal rights didnt they!!!!!!!!!!
  20. Alright mate, if you've got a garden why not put up a kennel and run for the dog??? There's plenty of dogs that are kenneled through the day and in at night, it solves all the problems mate, once the dog is used to it, it'll be fine!!!
