Picked a reprint up of this book a couple of weeks ago for a few quid & it's a cracking read The author tells of his life farming & boar hunting in New Zealand from the mid 1920's, of the people he met & dogs he ran. It's a short book/quick read, only 180 pages but well worth it.

don't normally like your long winded posts but this one really struck a home run!!! this is the point alto of people have been missing... no one likes debate more than you tom but like you say pages on pages of shite... least tom normally has first hand or factual experiance.... maybe also other peoples animal husbandry or hunting methods could be scrutinized but them don't publish what they do :whistle: people glass houses... anyway good post tom Sarcasm at its best

That article you are on about mate was actually hunting in NSW with the bloke who owns Boardogs and a few of the old guard off there. That was a hell of an introduction to pig hunting! not everyone is on a decent income,or even works,maby if there so cheap,you wont mind sending him one to try it,its a good question imo I don't profess to be on a decent income either & those unemployed that are physically able should get up off their lazy arses & find work I don't call £14.50 for a litre of Recharge expensive when you only use 10mls a time anyway. It is a good question

nothing to do with penny pinching,lectade,rebound etc are all good products and i don't believe i have advised not to buy them.i mearly answered the original question,which was,do you buy or make,i make, simply because the ingrediants in the above mentioned are very similar to what i make.and like i've stated,i have used mine for a good while with good results,so why change what aint broke?at the end of the day it's an individual decision. Just see little point in messing around when i can buy a cheap product made by a more qualfied & knowledgeable person with regards to ingredient q
