    Actually, forgot to mention,....i did eventually get that one back into setting position,..by luck i think, lol cause you never actually said, how too ?..but thats not a 'dig' just saying,..... (also, i actually liked setting the Putange, single , often , near the end of a tunnel system, & got plenty success that way, as well,...so versatile enough)

    CLIVE,......misleading,....or misinformation, what you said about me above ?,....there is a difference, cause its one or the other ?,.......the facts are (& its all on an earlier thread, anyway,...),......i bought a pair off you ? yes,...but why would i buy a load of a trap type, initially, i havent tried out before ?,....so bought the minimum amount,....& thats right, first one i practised setting,....knocked itself right out of shape !..is best way i can describe,....& YOU said, afterwards that FAULT CAN HAPPEN with them,....but its not a big issue, & they can be fixed easily

    Jeff Nicholls, a long time , traditional mole catcher, with a body of work, behind him,...books , equipment, films, etc,.....but has his faults, nonetheless ....& is the 'arch enemy' , it seems,.....of that 'gardener guy' (above) who thinks he's , 'winding ME up',.....???

    Anno, once you try them 'stainless' it's hard to go back to any others,...perhaps would be beneficial to have a bit extra power in them springs, at the manufacturing stage (& I've expressed this too them)....but your modifications, here once again,...looks like its definitely helped things.

    Opening line,..of his "slogan" can happen,....I've witnessed (heard) it at least twice, over the years....pulling a trap up (an old style scissor & a wee fenn ,a think), with mole still alive.....first time, has stayed with me,......all this time,...another occasion a mole was real vocal, when flipped out the ground alive, once,......rest of the "slogan" well,..is questionable, wouldn't argue over them parts, really

    Also,....i stated PUBLICLY, as well (did i actually message you, regarding that ?,...its ok i will double check,...lol) i changed my mind, & conceded the Putange (genuine) seemed suitable for the job , when deployed correctly,.....it can catch 'foul' as well, just like the rest,.....& is a fiddly wee f****r, i find ,...& as a result only use it in specialised situations, where its desirable to have a trap set completely below ground,......& i should say them 'ultimate' stainless steel ones, i first heard about off my 'best mate' CLIVE,..on here !,......they are better than the

    "24 hour trap checking",...... isnt to benefit YOU lol...its for the MOLE,..(well , according to Jeff ?),..obviously hes based this on if its 'foul caught', by a paw, end of abdomen, etc,...& potentially can be dispatched sooner ?,...(& im aware how this 'thinking' can be flawed,in practise, etc),....seems the olden day catchers could hang about waiting on the 'hazel wands' to spring up, & deal with the mole, quicker, etc,..(& its rumoured all traps were lifted at the end of the day,..),....TO ME,....checking traps daily was never bad practise anyway,.....& indeed walking
