Your right goldfinch plenty of game ireland but reds is what im talking about. I mean goldfinch how many time have you had 8, or even 7 or 4 adult foxes in one pipe iv been foxing 9 years and only had ever had 2 twice, Remember that nice chap del off the bobcat thread he gets 30 a season with a full pack of hounds

i know what your saying but when your at the reds you have to do every hole you konw to get a hunt easy or not hepher that a good way of saying i only get 10 digs a season lol but i agree with both comments, some times ill check 50 holes in a day and get nothing and thats with tons of ground to go at so what chance does the chap/lad down the road have ? unless he digging in the towns

Iv got thousands of acres 12 different shoots some not lamped or snared plus small farm shoots plus my own two shoots , so it not the not enough ground trust me, so dev is that 93 foxes ? last season ?

Of the 26 weekends what about the times you only get one fox or ALL the BLANK weekends or weekends your busy with something ? add that together and say 23 foxes at home with lots of bolts = 13 digs........

Ill take this tread with a pinch of salt, hundred foxes "really" more like ten a year unless your talking about rabbits or something els ? im with goldfinch on this one (and before any one repiles to this i dont belive you ) ps i dig three hundred foxes honest!!!

Had a look at the Scottish gamekeepers site last night and it was saying that folk that had done the course might have to re-sit it as they haven't decided what should be involved, now like you said surely they can't expexct the folk that have sat it to pay out another £40 to do it again??? Theres a course at newburgh 15th of june ill hopfully get there

Looking for a working terrier that doesn't stay with its fox but can find, basically a failed earth dog as i know lots of lads pts so instead ill have it, for rocks and very deep earths, cheap or free it will get a permanent working home anybody can help ? Scotland many thanks

Don't suppose you watched Horizon tonight? It ended with scientists saying that the whole universe and all that stuff just seems too contrived to be a coincidence. Not so much ''they created the animals'' and all that malarkhy but that all the elements were put into place to make life form. Ironically, Charles Darwin, held this theory also. All I can say is thank god for Ben & Jerry's ice cream cos I went and mulled over a tub of that and felt a whole lot better! I honestly didn't watch it and i now feel rather smug with my own conclusions

yea i hope they ban rabbit coursing and ferreting as i feel a poor innocent waters ship down rabbit, deserves better than being slowly chewed buy a young lurcher or it arse chewed out when you dig down to the ferret? ps dawn i said people that hunt "you know" with working dogs are hypocrite's so that doesn't include you lol yea yea whatever!

I personally think it a noble sport, a real mans sport, you have to have balls of steel to face a thousand pound bull that can kill you in a stroke much more testing than fox hunting,shooting,or coursing all of witch i used to enjoy people who hunt and say it cruel are hypocrites, that my opinion how many peopole die in other field sports er" none!
