Hi gnasher. I said that perhaps given the state of the anti-dog society we live in today, the Pit Bull, bearing in mind its original use and purpose, may be better off out of our country altogether. Reason being, they have been banned for 16yrs anyway, all those that live are illegal, so really any found (especially now) are going to be subjected to death if seen and identified. I cant help thinking the quality of life of a lot of these "pets" will be much reduced now in light of recent activities. I have no problem with any breed as a family pet and I would say the majority of Pit bull

I absolutely agree with that Apollo! Brindle thinks I dont like these dogs but I do, because of that Id rather see them gone altogether from this country than subjected to the aggro they are now. I know these dogs can make wonderful companions, but when they turn they do incredible damage very quickly, for gods sake that why Lurcher folk use them! Take this in perspective and you have a dog with a VERY high pain threshold, a very prey drive, and one that is almost impossible to stop when it goes. I dont for one minute think the dogs are to blame. Cracking dog that Apollo. Dawn.

For what its worth AKA Brindle, i would assume you own Bull breed, and for the defense you are showing for them should be commended, but dont beat me up for having an opinion. dawn.

First of all stop shouting, we can all read small type much easier! The statistics are there for all to see, you need only look, Im not pointing you in any direction when you are obviously an expert already! I have boarded Pit bulls and every other type of dog you care to name for the last 15yrs, I have 2 questionable "types" in at present, that would be removed from Merseyside and never seen again in a flash! I think its because of the damage they do when they do attack. Dont forget when the Rotties killed that baby not long ago, they wanted them added to the banned list. I dont think the KC have anything at all to do with it to be honest, in fact they stood up for the Pit Bull and SBT types regarding all this trouble, saying the owners should be punished and not the dogs. I think the emphasis was on pit bull types as its a type banned by the DDA. As much as every dog is covered by the act, the banned breeds, in this case the Pit Bull was responsible for the death of a child, if the act had worked the dog wouldnt of been here and the child would be alive now. Dawn.

None of it bothers me, its just the constant bickering and back stabbing if you have a Border! its so childish its pathetic. Just because I dont dig to my dogs every week or whatever, and now because I said my older Border was getting to chewed up I didnt work him of Foxes anymore, and I have one that I can bush, take shooting, retrieve, rat and use for Squirreling aswell, you get "picked on" like school boy tactics, and from a moderator aswell, somebody that is supposed to strike balance on a site! Can anyone help? About 3wks ago I cancelled my contract with Orange and asked to be put back to pay as you go. They did this and on Friday I got the new SIM etc.. I registered it etc.. but cannot top the balance up. I registered the top up card at the time I did the SIM but it says not registered when I try to use it and when I speak to Orange their flippin customer service machine says number not phone number not recognised!! People have text and phoned me today and I have phoned and texed other so I know its working, any suggestions? Dawn.
