speaking for myself. i prefer to breed from a track bitch i know what i'm getting, wouldnt mind if i then used lurcher to lurcher breeding coz i know whats in them. all this deerhound greyound x collie greyound x suluki greyhound stuff aint for me to much in the mix, keep it simple imo agree with fh if you breed from greyhound you kno what you getting , i've got 3 lurchers and i kno all the parents that they bred off , only had lurchers 14 years and at the start i bought adult dogs that were meant to be doing it all but never did in the last 10 year all my dogs have been got as pups fro

THANKS FOR QUOTE MATE,,HOPE PUP IS DOING WELL AND INTO EVERYTHING LIKE THESE 3 ARE,,THEY GOT A WOODY CHICK ON MONDAY(TEACH IT TO BATHE IN WATER BUCKET WHEN FEATHERS AINT WATERPROOF YET) WAS FUNNY TO WATCH THEM ATTACK ALL AT ONCE,,OBVIOUSLY WASNT FOR THE PIGEON BUT I DIDNT EXPECT ALL 3 TO ATTACK IT,,MUST BE IN THE BREEDING!! CATCH UP WITH YOU SOON AND WHAT YOU CALLED PUP? MINE STILL BUBBA.. called him bud he is nuts got the rest of the dogs terorised , if anyone in scotland wants 1 of these pups i am going down this weekend and will bring pup back up the road with me

i got a staff aswel mate she hunts like a spaniel its natural to them just take it where there is plenty rabbits and wont be long in learning to hunt , got 3 bull crosses aswel just do basic training and let them be pups till they look ready to start then go for a night lamping bunnies

had a lurcher like that about 10 year ago , bet i had him on 30 rabbits untill he picked his 1st 1 up keep trying mate would give the rat a miss you could spoil the pup if its nervous

got a 1st x in my kennels that looks just like them 2 exept he black and white racey but strong he 11 month now so should be ready for a bit this season
