Really? Please can you point me to the official document that states this as the Vienna Convention makes no claim that the premises of any embassy is classed as the land of the occupying country. Nothing is eternal, everything had to begin somewhere from something, even if it's just an idea but there has to be something to have that idea in the firs place. I'm all for "reaching out" or whatever but a few things seem to get in the way. 1) I find a large number of the elderly Muslim community don't even speak English so it's a bit hard to communicate. 2) These are Muslims doing this, not Asians or Indians or "Pakis" or whatever names you gave. My main question is if these are so called "Extremists" or isolated individuals in the British Muslim community, where are all the Muslim community leaders, protesters that are quick to kick off on the streets about "their rights" etc? Why aren't they speaking out to these individuals, supporting their community to ensure these individuals don;t become isolated and go to commit such atrocities? Where are they? I think the same applies to Orthodox Jews doesn't it? And evangelicals. And Seventh Day Eventists. Can we, as a forum, just clear up that just because you may be vehemently against a religion or the beliefs of someone or group of people does not make you a racist. Religions have followers from all ethnic groups. Not all Christians are black and not all practicing Buddhists are Hollywood stars.
