  1. she needs plenty more handling before you work her then pal. if not you will never get her back out once entered. as ideation said, get sum ferretone off e-bay and put a couple of drops on your hand when you go to handle her, let her lick it then pick her up. keep doing this and she will be fine with you picking her up in no time
  2. yes. but what good is a vote on the act going to do? NOTHING, as the majority will vote against a re-peal. saying that though, its a good way for them to get % of people on here to vote for them and get them in power
  3. not a true word said mate, f**k them tory wankers, they are all the same, lying cheating tossers, i remember when the torys were in power, and totally f****d this country, and we are still paying for it now the hunting ban will never be lifted, so if you are voting conservative with the view that it will be repealed, your vote will be wasted in my opinion, it dosnt matter to me , ban or no ban, i carry on regardless, Anybody stupid enough to vote Labour must be wanting us to end up like Greece plus a ban on all other field sports. There's never been a bigger bunch of cu.nts than thi
  4. no mate. a mk3 new with 2 collars is about £170. expensive bit of kit, but worth there weight in gold. no amount of fieldcraft can help when you get a kill in a stop end, but with a locator u know exactly where and how deep to dig. better than waiting hours on end or blocking up and going back the day after. especially if your permissions some miles away
  5. depends which one you get mate. mexlad got a mk3 with 2 collars for £
  6. casper was welsh! f**k me ive heard it all now. lol its bad when you dont know a yorkshire man from a welsh man
  7. its not going to happen. thats why the torie wankers havent got my vote, that and the fact that they f****ed this country up in the first place. why worry about it gettin re-pealed anyway? 90% off court cases get dropped through lack of evidence e.t.c anyway? the hunting act is a joke, try your luck and hope your not one of the 10%
  8. lol. thats me off with my tail between my legs
  9. bitch is 22 tts out off 1st cross bull/grey bitch put to a 1st cross bull/grey dog. dog is a whippet/grey. both of which work day and night from the sounds of it they should be decent pups. i'm making a 12hour round trip for it when there ready.
  10. yea their nipples will stick out they will get fatter they will build a nest and nip other ferts at times.then they will go through the motions then be fine.you will find if there housed with other ferts they will drag them about and treat them as kits.nowt to worry about buddy other wayround for me. the jill that i have bred is being dragged around by the jill i havent bred. mine must be irish ferrets?
  11. cheers lads. i would like to say a big thankyou to a member of here who has told me of a mating that is taking place and kindly offered me a pup aslong as it gets a good home. rest assured it will do pal and i look forward to seeing you soon
  12. to be honest mate, the only reason i wanted some bull in it is to try and even out some of the collie sensitivity, bit more bite than bark if you know what i mean? something that will take a bite and not be put off. i have thought of adding wheaton rather than bull but there few and far between. i must say i like the look dogs with bull in them (but a grafter is more important than a looker)
  13. agree mate, but that can be done without picking them up and taking pictures of them, which i think the lad was on about. each to there own. you do it how you want to, not how nobody else wants to. my mates been telling me to seperate my jills when my sandy has her kits. but i'm not beacause i think they will be fine and thats the way i want to do it. if it goes wrong then its my fault
  14. just not keen on the beddy x. our lass's dad has got one that hasnt done anything. ive had him out with me, does nothing but whine, yaps at other dogs while running. gets fed up after an hour and completely ignores me, its just completely put me off that cross, and to be honest i wouldnt buy one myself as i would be expecting it to turn out like that
  15. i will be using the dog to come ferreting with me but will be mainly worked on the lamp. i dont want anything too big, but i want a nice strong dog, that would be capable of the odd red. i was thinking of a collie x bull x grey, but i'm swaying towards something like a well bred 5/8 whippet 1/4 collie 1/8 bull. using whippet rather than greyhound to try and keep the size down a little. anybody reccomend me anything else? p.s. i dont want a beddy x whippet
  16. i wouldnt handle them myself but its not up to him to tell people not to. at the end of the day everyone does things there own way, so if people feel there ferret will be fine with it then thats up to them, if anything happens its there fault and there loss, no one elses
  17. what height would a collie grey reach? generally speaking
  18. ive just the one jrt at the minute. but when the right lurcher comes up i will be getting one
  19. dont know about adult prices, but if it were my litter i would have them taken off straight away
  20. nice one mate. i'm hoping to be hitting numbers like that come the new season. trying to let things rest for now. more sport for the winter with a bit of luck
