  7. Would be worth a try i think. Foxy
  8. We didnt pay anywhere near that i know that for sure.
  9. The ends on the one in the picture on the site look like there held with ferules, problem with them are when you push it down a rabbit hole they usually warp, hindering the door, really need to be solid welded ends to stop this happening.
  10. not sure mate, company paid for them, i just gave the spec i wanted,
  11. I just left it there over night, had half a dozen from under the building altogether from two different traps in two nights. Foxy
  12. A member on here posted pictures on here of them being used in Australia in a previous discussion about them before, maybe the same guy. Foxy

  14. Just a simple one way flap door mate, same idea as a live catch mole trap, can use them while ferreting aswel down the holes you may not be able to reach easily in time if netted. Foxy
  15. Know these traps have been discussed before but just thought i'd share a couple of photos on how versatile they are, a client had rabbits burrowing under buildings, the rabbits were very jumpy on the lamp so after taking a few out with the rifle we had some new bolt traps made and moped the stragglers up using them over the scrapes under the buildings, love these traps... so simple and so effective.
  16. Ih hes taking rabbits in daylight he should take them on the lamp no bother at all, if you want to give him a couple of dry runs with the dummy bunny on the lamp though cant see any harm in it, apart from getting in a tangle with it in the dark! lol good luck mate. Foxy
  17. Ideally after the first few frosts the cover dies back and more Hunting opportunities can be had but saying that if your paying for the experience then your mentor for the day should be taking you to places they already know are likely to produce some Game so my advice is to get it booked and let us now how it goes! foxy
  18. Isnt to early mate. get him back on the creance after dark and just practice recalls back to the fist under lamplight, once he is re-calling no bother after dark just simply show him some rabbits, make sure you know your ground well though and dont give your bird any risky slips near fence lines or obstacles that he could harm himself on.

  21. 400 acres eh?? that should take the grand total of half a day to hunt on at the most.... and day after day?? boy your bird will be lucky! and youve given falconers permission on there before?? thought you had never known anyone with a bird??? the cracks are already beginning to show.... your one of these people who convinces themselvs of something then thats it eh? kind of person that talks so much crap that you start to believe it yourself?? but by all means please do prove me wrong... get your bird.. hunt it with success and keep us all filled in, the suspense is already killing me......bit
