    you speak good sence mate,but i no the lad and wouldnt advise him a collie cross id go for a lurcher to lurcher cross thats been tested and abit of an all rounder jack of all trades he would need to learn alot.for our area an allrounder would be the ideal tool because theres not many of just one thing around by us but we travel far and wide good luck with your new pup mate!!
