  1. I got the gun out to have a plink in the garden today and it had no air in ?? I presumed i hadn't done it up tight enough last timed i filled it so filled it again. After filling it to 190 with my pump i pulled the trigger and nothing. I took it to my local gun man and we played around with the gun and bottle for a while and realised that the valve on the top of the bottle wasn't working properly You can push the needle in the top of the bottle in and it will release air but it won't shut back properly ? He said he can order a new valve if needed but thought it was best to go home and s
  2. nice motor mate, if you were nearer i would be up with the money tonight !!
  3. Not sure yet mate, looking at swaping it in at the mo for an R10 but don't want to commit untill i know about my future toy !!
  4. Update on the Rapid. I cant get on with it Sorry to all of those that have this gun and love thiers but i've tried to love it and i just can't. I have been into my local gun shop and had a chat about a different toy I have been thinking of either a wiehrauch kt 100, or maybe a BSA R 10. Also leaning back towards the .177 flavour as i did like my A.A. 410. I did consider going back to a 410 but i think it will feel like taking a step back. Does anyone use either of the rifles ( wiehrauch kt 100, BSA R 10 ) or would you suggest something else ? Cheers in advance peeps

  6. Sorry chap, been working my arse off, got to take it when i can in the present time. Got a couple of questions if you dont mind ? How many miles has it done ? whats the engine run like ? Any known mechanical faults ? Reson i'm asking is if i have it i've got to drive it back from there and wouldn't like to find out about any probs on the hard shoulder somewhere !!
  7. Hi mate, what engine has it got in it ?
  8. To tell you the truth jenksi i haven't counted. I normally fill it up before i go out so haven't got it low enough as to fill it all the way up again
  9. Cheers for the replies peeps I know the rapid is superior to my old gun what with the shot count and build quality but as mentioned before the mag really does my brain in I just feel personally that you shouldn't have to work at liking a gun. I did go out on Sat evening for an hour and half and managed to bag 3 bunny's which is great, but still not sure on the gun ?? I'm still not sure if it's the .177 or .22 thing but defo drop alot more with this gun so i'm doing something right. I think it's me being a :wankerzo4: so i'll give it another couple of weeks and see, if not then i'll be s
  10. Was thinking of going out for a shine with my friend and the dogs. Only trouble is i can't get my hands on a boat at the mo, it's pi**ing down here, hasn't stoppped for a good hour. Going to give it another hour before the beers come out, no work tom !!

  12. Dog and ferrets, and a few to a couple of older generation friends who like 'em. Wish i had enough to spare to go to the butcher !! Mine will pay £1 gutted, £1.50 gutted and skinned
  13. Does anyone know of any good working whippets down this way ? I'm looking for one to possibly cover my bitch in about a month or so. I've got a dog earmarked that is a friend of a friends dog, but always looking for the better option.
  14. Recently i sold my A.A 410 classic .177 and acquired a Rapid 7 .22 from a friend . Now i know it's a very good gun, loads of shots per fill and all that stuff, nice custom stock, better scope than my last one BUT i'm just not loving it yet . I've had it over a month now and use it at least 3 times a week, taken loads of bunny's and a few woody's but i'm just not confident in it ? I'm not sure whether it's because i've gone back to a .22 or the weight of it or what it is but i'm thinking i shouldn't have to work at loving my new kit ? What are other people's thoughts on this ? Thanks
  15. Any pic's mate ? Got a transit pick up
  16. Firstly - I am sooo glad that these childish actions and behaviour has come to light. If these people want to play silly playground mind games give me a call and put you onto my 10 year old daughter who has more sense and intelect than ALL of the people who are involved. Maybe if you speak to her you'll relise how pathetic you really are. Secondly - As for ringing up a couple who are GRANDPARENTS and verbally abusing them down the phone you must be sooooo proud of yourselves. Who knows what steps you'll take next, maybe there is a nursery near you that is missing a bully and you could hel
  17. Cheers lurchermantub, will get on there and look about. As i said i got it so cheap that i had already resided myself to buying a new engine but thought it was worth asking, thanks for your replies peep's
  18. I have recently bought an M reg Bighorn 3.1 Diesel auto. It has done 153K miles and apparently the head is knackered. It start's first time but sounds really rough, and if you take the engine oil filler cap off whilst it's running it sounds like a lawn mower and air is pumping out of where you put the oil in ? There is no gunk on the bottom of the oil dipstick or on the filler cap, and the water is also clear. I had resided to buying a new ( Second hand ) engine but thought i would ask you guy's to see if anyone knew / had any ideas before i do. I did buy it very cheap so haven't been turned o
  19. I've got an old ( J reg ) 3.0 ltr petrol lwb shogun. Juicy but i love it, it's got heated seats and electris. Not sure about the newer versions but this one is solid

  24. Why get an expensive lamp ? Go to B&Q or homebase buy a big torch for about £10 - £20. see how she gets on first before shelling out loads of money. As for the negative comments just ignore them mate, they obviously have no idea what a Stafford is capable of doing. Good looking dog you've got, good luck
