  1. My BSA lighning has done me proud since i've had it. Definately good enough for bunnies, and you can pick them up fairly reasonable s / h. Would also help if you put up where you are in case someone has a rifle for you
  2. The silencer fits on with a grub screw, not sure what other ' bits ' you mean as there is not alot to them to take off ?
  3. Happy with my new S400, Haven't had alot to compare it to though :secret: Maybe should of saved a little more and got the S410 though
  4. Cracking pic's, nice to be able to take the boy with you to see these sort of things eh ? My son always loves seeing the deer when we go shooting ( Bunnies that is ! )
  5. Alloy, not sure who else does them, best off googling
  6. I have got access to land, only to shoot though. Will speak to land owner and see what he say's. Only trouble is it's not nice and open ,alot of it is woodland
  7. Love your SBT, she looks like she has met a few brambles already !!
  8. Evening all, i was wondering if anyone goes down here near Brighton as i would like to go and see it done with dog's that can do the job. I love to watch the course, i have only seen my SBT do it and although she tries with all her might she very rarely gets 'em. I am a member of ACES and also take my SBT simo coursing so not a complete novice to it all. Cheers for looking and happy hunting
  9. Cheers for the info, will have a look and see what i can find
  10. I have recently bought a multi conversion for my new S400. Easy to fit but you have to manually turn it ( the one i have anyway ) Which is fine if you know, which i didn't and it bugs the life out of me ! Thought it would self rotate. Conversions are around the £50 mark
  11. Cheers guy's, was also thinking of maybe cutting out some of the middle of the stock to make it a little lighter also. Really like the idea of drilling the cut off so it can be re-used , will also look into some sticks for the little fella. What about a telescopic bank stick from my fishing bag ? i'll let you know how it goes
  12. Nice marketing So they try and make you spend the extra £100+ so you don't have to manually turn the mag ?
  13. As i said i've got a spare to do this on so the original stock is not getting touched ! No one else then ?
  14. I'm sure your talking about the S410 ? I'm talking about the S400 multi conversion, only a 7 shot ? If you tell me there is a 10 shot that rotates itself for the S400 i'm going to be well pissed
  15. I was going to buy the S200 but went for the S400 instead. Reason's being it is IMO more of a mans gun. The 200 is nice but the 400 has a better look and feel, bigger shot count and all for a tenner more ?. As for stirrup pumps also bought one with the rifle and i think there fine. £100 for as many fills as you like and it's easy to move around, much more so than an air tank ! Also remember that if you buy the multi shot conversion you have to manually turn the magazine. Not a problem if you don't mind but it bug's the life out of me. Good luck and happy shooting
  16. Great action shots, what camera do you use ?
  17. Good luck ! Wish i could do the same, also had today and got tomorrow off work so was looking foward to trying to sort some bunnies out. Only troubl is done my back in yesterday so can't do anything
  18. I recently treated myself to my first new rifle, A.A.S400. I was going to buy the S200 so my son who is 8 can also shoot with me but the guy in the shop had a spare s/h stock for the S400 so i bought it with the idea of cutting it down both ends and maybe drilling some holes in it to make it lighter so my son can shoot it more easily. Now i have got it home i'm thinking it may not be as easy as i first thought Before i start to butcher it i wondered if anyone has any ideas / advice on the best way to go ?

  20. Good read, it's not alway's about how much you bag though is it ? I'm not the best in the world, just enjoy getting out there and experiencing these things, But a decent bag does help the day along that's for sure

    MOLES

We were also talking about this yesterday whlist walking about our fields. Anyone know how else to git rid of the little mountain makers ?
  22. Hey digdigger, was your first pic taken at the Midland game fair last year ? If so your dog's done well in the running. We have the Staffies that do the same and were also there, think you may of even slipped a couple of them for us ? . Anyone not bothered about doing this with their dog then why waste your energy in even reading this thread, let alone posting ??
