J - i've got a hand held lamp ( 1,500,000 ) with motorbike battery, bought some red plastic sheeting from local shop to make a lens. If i take the lens off it covers the field easy, too bright really but considering it only cost me about £15 all in i cant grumble ! Also when the dog gives chase i can see her no probs. As for the difference i think it's something to do with the pellet being lighter in the .1777 so goes further holding more of it's power ? Prob wrong, if i am i'm sure the keyboard warriors will be along shortly to put me right !

Finally managed to get out Sat night with the .177 here you go guy's and girls I have posted another thread on the subject of ' How far you have dropped a bunny ' but i shot 2 sat night and we paced them out, 71 and 74 yards !! They were both shot's that i had posts to lean on, and the pellets were accupells. Before i get all the people saying that's cruel / impossible or whatever your gonna say both bunny's were in an open field so if winged my dog would of picked them up before they managed to get to saftey and die painfully. Managed to get out sat night as my daughter was having a sleepover and i wasn't staying in with 5, 10 y/old girls running round my house screaming and giggling . I finally managed to get onto a new permission as it's horse paddocks and every time i've been there it's been waterlogged . I really noticed that the silencer is brilliant on my new toy aswell, sure the guy in the gun shop said it was a AHM Trouble is i've got AMG stuck in my brain, any help would be appreciated , thanks Also what is the longest range that someone has dropped a bunny with a .22 and a .177

That's what i was thinking about the penetration of the pellet, also the trajectory of the pellet is meant to be much flatter and longer ??

The story goes i bought the S400 Carbine brand new along with the mag conversion as couldn't afford the S410. Now a month down the line i walked in my local gun shop and he had a S410 just been traded in, so after some talking and a little cash and stuff i have walked out with the S410 Only thing is it's a classic, no problem just a tad longer. Also it's a .177 and i've never used 1 before so are there any main differences i should look out for ? Going out tomorrow with it as i've got no work Forgot to say it's also got a custom brass bolt and a nice silencer, quiter than the A.A

Nice little jeep's, got the 7 seater 3000 petrol version. Starts first time every time, good luck with sale. Also got a Bighorn with suspected head gasket :realmad:

Been saying it for a while about people coming here and taking job's. Yes they may do the same job for less money but the money they are earning isn't staying in the country is it. It is getting sent back and not being spent keeping our economy going. There is a kebab shop in Brighton that i know for FACT that last year was earning a lot of money. Out of the profit the owner was sending over £5000 a month back to Turkey !!! That's 1 shop in Brighton, now multiply that by the amount of people who are actually doing this and IMO this is a major contributor to our downfall. I'm not a racist but

Cheers for the replies peep's, Pitindall i also have a ' Tesco ' special imitation mag light and it's defo served me well, good battery life and nice beam but as the father inlaw said about these surefires i thought i'd see what you guy's thought before i bought one. Next stop fleebay for some looking, wish me luck

My father in law came back from working in Iraq last weekend and was saying that these might be great for my A.A. S400 as a gun light. At the moment i'm using a little Mag light which is fine but he looked at it and said that the Surefire will p*"s all over it !! Anyone know anything about them please ? Cheers

Is it the whole nail or just the outside of it ? If it's the outside just make sure it's cleaned out and it'll grow back. Friend of mine's Staffy just had the same thing and this is what he was told by the vet.

I was looking on ebay last night and saw a pump on there for £65 delivered if my memory serves me right. IMO a pump is just as good as a bottle, and you can always get good deals on S/H rifles, just keep your eye's open. Good luck

Why not get the S400 / second hand S410 ? More shot capacity for near on the same money ?

I bought a S400 just after x-mas and now want a S410 i bought the mag conversion but just not happy with it so i'm gonna have to take the kick in the b****ks and chop in the rifle to upgrade . I am wondering now whether to buy a .177 instead of the .22 that i have. The reason being that i've heard the .177 gives a better ' Flatter ' trajectory and goes a little further rather than the big arch of the .22. Also can anyone recommend a decent pellet for the S400 as i'm using A.A Diablo's but they dont seem to be doing the job. I used to use Accupell in my lightning before and they dropped

Found accupells were the best, better than power pells and A.A IMO

I only ever fill mine to 170 - 180 bar, that's plenty of shots for a walk around your shoot. Normally fill it when it gets to just over 100bar.

Why do you need a bottle to fill up a PCP, What about a pump ? Alot also depends on budget and what your going to be using it for
