    Hi all, i'm looking at upgrading my camera but not sure what to go for I've got the D40 which imo is a great camera but i'm wanting to take the next step. I've been looking at the D5000, D3100 and the D90. All of these have the movie function which would be usefull and all around the same price ( providing i look around for a second hand D90 ) Any one had any experiance of these cameras ? thanks

    What about a double figure bass from the shore / breakwater ? Not an easy feat ? Stalking bunny's that are hammered and see you coming from field away ?

Was going to buy but thought i'd ask before i hit buy it now !! He also does 4oz for £25 for 150 yards ? Seems a good deal to me, i was going to buy both for £60 ?.

    Mine get nothing if going out for a shine as they're not out long enough to woory about. a couple of hours absolute tops. If going out with the ferts i'll give them half their breakfast and bump up dinner. Anubis - Dogs are looking good bud

    I'm doing alright mate, last 2 outings with the ferts we've had near on 40. Nothing like the numbers your having at the mo but enough for us, especially being out with the dogs too

    We normally get to our permission about 8, have a walk round with the dog and go from there. Myself and my boy left home at 7.20am this morning and left our permission about 4.45, home by 5.45. We take a packed lunch, flask and make a day of it its meant to be fun after all Good luck bud enjoy the day out

    Went out with the bitch pup thurs night and had another result The wind was up, no cloud but thought sod it not going to catch anything sitting indoors. I rang the brother in law as he fancied coming out, picked him up and out we went. The pup had a couple of half runs, nothing to speak of but saw alot more rabbits out than the previous night . We got to the barbed wire fence and i said to the bro in law be carefull as it's slippy all round there. With that i slipped, put my hand out infront of me and cut my hand in 3 places No stitches needed just my pride so on we trudged. walked a w

    To cut a long story short i ended up going to get another jill today due to her not being looked after too well She is half sister to my 2 jill's and niece to my 2 hobs Anyway i picked her up and she seem's very sweet natured but also very thin and small compared to mine ( I do admit my ferts are fat buggers though :blush: ) Also that her coat is very what seems to be stained, or like a yellowy tarnish to it ( Possibly urine stained ? ), and that she looks to have dark orange tear marks round her eye's ? I am lucky enough to have a spare hutch so i have put her in there along with my alb

    I finally got off my back side last night and took the dog pup out for his 1st time on the lamp just us 2.He has been out a couple of times with others and i've taken him shooting and ferreting so i know his capabilities, ( at this point in time anyway ). He had a couple of runs which seemed to warm him up, then a nice squatter about 50 yards out Slipped him and away he went, he turned the rabbit a few times, struck and missed Oh well on to the next one, or so i thought. He carried on looking and the bunny must of just bushed itself in the hedgerow, popped back out and ran toward me
