  1. cheers ray ill put that to him
  2. P.s he was gona become a member of THL and ask the same , but as he has little interest in the hunting side of things and no history/or posts i didnt think hed get a very good response , i can vouch for him being a good and responsible dog owner , thanks again
  3. Not sure where this topic should be really so if a mod needs to move it ill apologise now . Im posting this for a good mate of mine , basically hes looking for a bull mastiff pup , hopefully from some decent stuff , doesnt want it for working just as a family pet/guard dog etc as hes away from home a fair bit and worries about security of wife and kids. Hes kept a german shepard for years but recently been put to sleep due to age and ill health. If anyone knows to / or has a litter due around the springtime he'd be very interested . thanks phil
  4. OUT!! british for britain , look after our own instead of everyone elses
  5. save yourself a few quid mate ... work out the sizes .. go to b&Q .. buy some suitable ply they will do up to 3 cuts on each sheet for free , just screw/nail it together and there you go no cutting ,measuring and pissing about ! you can then take it as far as you want . ie seal gaps , insulate , put a internal windbreak in , roof felt etc, plus you get the satisfaction of building it yourself Or if you really cant be arsed pm me and ill make you one . atb phil
  6. sorry bud , been out with the hounds , i will take some pics tommoprow for you , to be honest ive tryed theraband black , dont rate double much , triple is much better but bit fiddlerly to tie on properly , imo you cant go wrong with theraband gold doubled or single on a mini , id say tapered bands the way to go but you wont get as much life out of them .Have seen the stuff in asda ? sold as excercise bands . £6 for 3 - light -medium-heavy , im using the medium at moment (red) 1"x9" double bands on a small oak natural , 300fps+ with 10mm steel . dont no how long they'll last but good so far af
  7. ill try and get a few of mine up later on mate , i like the grain of oak , holly is my favourite but real hard to find a nice symetrical fork .
  8. seems everyone into ply / multiplex etc nowadays , imo you just cant beat a good natural fork, each one is unique . Nice job mate
  9. cant remember the model now .. they were softish rubber to top of ankle, then realtree neoprene , i loved them at 1st but just wasnt very impressed about how long they lasted ! to be honest they were the only wellie /boot that kept me feet warm whilst ferreting and stuff i, was tempted to get some more but at 60 odd quid there not the cheapest , maybe try a different model in the future these are avon thats the ones mate .treads were gone in no time , slipped over down the farm and done me back in , boots in skip!
