    Lost my best hob yet chancing it with just a collar and bells on. He was in a massive sand bury with holes everywhere. Stayed until it went dark, went back early hours of the morning rattling the tin I trained them to come to for feeding, nothing. He was later found run over by a car. That day I ordered a mk3m finder and wouldn’t put a ferret to ground without a locator ?

    Is it me or has anyone noticed the price of pups rocketing up lately. Not just the usual french bulls, shite etc but lurched pups seem to be going for £600+?! Madness

    Cheers mate. I gave the battery terminals a clean and they work a lot better now. It’s weird how the bottom collars clicking is a lot faster and stronger than the top 2.

    Hi guys. Just picked up these 3 collars. Could anyone please tell me if the top 2 collars are micro collars? Only the bottom one is working properly with an lr44 battery in. The top 2 collars clicking is noticeably slower and the box won’t read them after 5-6 feet. Many thanks

    Narrower than the 170? Like I said the only YouTube comparison video on the lazerlite and the blazerlite and a tracer 140 shows them as wider more evenly lit beams. Rather than an intense spot with loads of spill like the tracer

    I’ve got one, wouldn’t get another. He’s a lovely dog, was very easy to train and is keen as f**k. However, when it comes to lamping he’s very disappointing. He’s too small and hasn’t got the pace

    I know the dimmer is handy for certain game. I don’t know if my eyes are f****d, but when the chase goes a certain distance the beam just looks like glare. I can’t make out the game and that’s the end of it! Its a proper pencil beam, the only video of a lazerlite I can find looks like a wider, more even spread beam which might suit me better

    I currently have a tracer 170 variable, 100w bulb and 10a lithium. I’ve never really got on with it tbh, sounds better than what it is. How does the 50w lazerlite compare to the 100w blazerlite please pal?

    Thinking of getting one of these lamps. I realise the lazer is 50w and the blazer is 100w. Was wondering if there was much difference between the 2? Like is the extra drain on the battery for the Blazer worth it for a better beam?

I use it walking the dog, playing fetch when it’s dark. Lamped a couple of bunnies with it too! If you get one, keep the receipt. My 1st one stopped working after a month. The replacement has been faultless. There was a 400m beam one there too, but that looked a bit big to me

    Appreciate the reply. I lamp on my own, I don’t get to speak to people about these technicalities! I’ve never had any problems once the chase is on with this lamp, my only issue is the eyes shining. Instead of buying a filter, I’ve just ordered a red led torch off amazon for the same price. It comes with a pressure switch, so I’m going to rig it up on the lamp so I have a red torch to scan for eyes, then flick the tracer on when the dogs slipped.
