  1. Reading the above post I'm assuming you think the ferret has escaped? are you sure it has escaped or has it been stolen as ferret thefts are rife this time of year, also if you are planning on getting rid of a so called "good load" of rabbits off your permission you would need more than 1 ferret to do that as your lone ferret would be tired out in no time at all. Not having a go or anything just stating what probably a lot of other members are thinking.
  2. I "had" some permission once, bloke wanted rabbits cleared from the hedges either sides of the road as they were tunnelling under the road causing subsidence and his long tarmac road to sink and pothole. to be honest I didn't want to risk my ferrets under there when there's much easier land to go at. Your decision at the end of the day though mate
  3. Decided it was time to get up to my permissions as I hadn't been up there since the beginning of the year (long story but have my reasons) main reason to get up there was to make sure the farmers were still ok with me shooting and ferreting up there with me being absent for so long, to be honest i was expecting being knocked back and told that they have somebody else on but after giving them all a knock they were all happy and pleased to see me back up there and I got all their phone numbers to phone up the day before I plan to go up as in the past they have always just told me I don't need to

  6. Permission doesn't come to you that easy mate, best thing to do is get out there and knock on some farmers doors like 99.9% of people on here have done, looking at you're profile you're from round here aswell so be prepared to travel to find permission as there's nowt round here.

  9. goes to show you give your dog the life you get it back well done mate for spending the time and money on yours i would mine to cheers mate, I have spent thousands and thousands on him as I had no insurance, even when the vets thought he wouldn't make it he pulled through, even when vets advised it was a very very high risk to do the last operations and they didn't want to do it I made them do it and rather than keep him overnight in vets I brought him home with drip and everything, sat up all night comforting him then back to vets the next day. then when drip removed brought him home t
