Thanks for the comments guy's will try and get the dog up. the first one is the my Russell and the second one dogs ragging the carcass my we lakie Pup on the tail. The other we Russell is my mates with the red nose fae the first dig.

Out for a nosey about yesterday and a few photo's of my lurcher who thinks he's a terrier.

Normal Saturday night phoned round a few friends to see what plans were for sunday morning day out in the hills on our permission ground, as the farmer asked us to check a few earths prior to lambing season, 08:00am on the ground weather snowing heavy and icy cold winds, ideal conditions first hole we tried bingo hit gold my mates russell collared up and in she went straight away bay bay bay gave her about 15mins to settle and looked again still in same position, got mark at 1.3mtrs started dig good brown soil digging, down 1.0mtr and charlie decided to bolt big dog fox left to run another

I tell you what i had a wee 10" bitch bred soley for baying/bolting and she did it superbly if she didnae bolt it you would need to dig to her 100% stayer, her pups also turned out to be good dogs.

Awe right Sounder, I am the same as yourself i like the dogs to hunt up especially if the cover is thick but as was quoted there is the pro's and cons with this the dogs going too far in front and more than one down at any time, sure way to get the other smashed if it's pushing on, the other bad thing if the dogs no the terrian and he gets there well before you and you may have missed a bolter, but as you say every one to there own, i like mine huntin.
