  4. never mind whats said on these message broads, those pushing hardest for KC registration care little for the working ability of the terrier IMO they want and have always have wanted show dogs and then they can stand round with the rest of the failed terrier owners[westie, yorkies, parsons lol ] pretending what workers they have with no one questioning them, just another terrier to be chased down the road by a mouse

  10. Foxdropper , you keep a nuttall terrier, pm me some of the names in its ped, as you may never want to breed from it
  11. Patrick , over the years I've produced maybe 10% undershot i neither breed for it or away from it its a miner thing in a bigger picture, and as long as the dog /bitch work and work well I'll breed from them ... now I'm sure you know your stuff in your field but your field is digging up rodents, mine isn't , and its not sales pitch i have e.mails and Pm's all the time and most will tell you I'm not selling , now you go off and a write dissertation on why terriers should have a scissor bite and stick it on your web site, or even find a US site that puts up with your inane dribble
  12. if it was left to mother nature we'd still be hunting with wolves, there would be no terriers, hounds or lurcher's a terrier wouldn't stay to ground and a lurcher wouldn't make run after run, no wild animal would put its self in to much danger hunting as do the dogs we keep and breed, in lines of terriers undershot is there always seems to of been there, to try and breed it out would need a lot of out crossing.. lots of out crossing is to the determent of working ability IMO I was meaning conformation wise not temperament Terrier 12" -15" and under 25 pound and the Wolf weigh

  15. BMP veiws on hunting .......The British National Party neither condemns nor condones hunting with dogs - we are neutral. We firmly believe that the role of national government is to debate and, if appropriate, legislate on issues that are truly of national importance - something that hunting is not. We further believe that the issue of hunting with dogs should be resolved at local level preferably through use of referenda involving only those residents in the area covered by a particular Hunt. In other words we advocate the concept of letting local people decide on local issues......... wh

  19. most genetic defects are killed off, pretty dam fast, works to hard for genetic defects!!! but things like undershot is a genetic defects in some peoples eyes, not to me one of the main problems with line/inbreeding is loss of size, weak teeth and you have to breed very tight , then you need new blood ..and your problems now start ,when you try to find the new blood the trick is to get the new blood on the go long before you need it that way you can work it see how it goes ,and if good enough, breed the hybred stuff back into the line slowly JMO
  20. I've chatted with a few of the real old school[they'd love that lol ]one of the best conversations, i had was with J.Park, and his saying of , "you can't breed rats from mice" sums it up ... bloodlines are every thing, scattered bred show crap is every where, and as each year goes on, less and less are breed purely for work, the main problem is the definition of worker!!!
