  1. My Mrs SE shoots AA Fields .177 very nicely. Mr old .22 MMC shot RWS Super Fields well.
  2. 40 from a MMC .22 Ultra and 30 from .177 MMC Ultra. SE = 40 to 45 in .177 and 50 to 55 in .22 so i was told at the Midland by Phil Crampton.
  3. Just dont go to Drapers in Notts mate as they are expensive and very rude. They were with me on more than 1 occasion.
  4. Ive gone the Sidewinder route. Got 3 and love all 3.
  5. Either Mole bud. Shoulder both and see which you like the most.
  6. This seems the norm in this country at the moment Tim, a shame really. We do intend to do a tuning episode, we have had it planned a long time now but other things always seem to take priority. Si.
  7. Ive fitted a 4 to 16 x50 SF with SR pro Matt, but thats just to squeeze every ounce of potential I can from it. Ive also got a 2 to 7 x32 AO IR aswell. Id use that for ferals ect. Cheers Simon for the info, all interesting stuff. Si.
  8. I didnt know John regged BSAs. Blue print yes but reg. That's new. £100 aswell. Thats bloody cheap.
  9. As Tony said in the clip lads. His work and the results people get from it do the talking.
  10. Yeah I agree Mark, Many of us have had more than 1 SFS tuned rifle now. Me, you, Davy, Aaron, Gary, Mawders and probably many more people that we don't know. Would we buy twice or more times if the work Tony did was rubbish and just filled with grease? No definitely not. Its lies from silly jealous people. I'm afraid its becoming a normal thing in the UK. Instead of having friendly and professional competition the norm now seems to be to slate your opposition to try and get your own gain.
  11. Im not on the Airgun BBS VM. It doesn't matter to some what you do mate. Some cant see further than their own nose anyway. Im expecting a massive slating from some on the BBS from this clip lol.
  12. Your going to be very happy with it Joey. The best pellets I've found so far are: Bisley Long Range Gold. RWS Super Field. H and N FTT 5.53 mm. AA Fields.
  13. Thanks Steve and Joey (Fosters15). Tony as been a friend of mine now for some years and I for 1 know how much work and pride he puts into everyone's rifle, no matter who you are. The rifle I bought yesterday wasn't a new Imp. If it was I would of been waiting 6 to 8 weeks myself and me and Davy are sponsored by him (no one gets special treatment and fair is fair). The rifle I bought was the test Imp that Tony didn't want to sell at first as he wanted me to get a new one. It was so good though I had to have it so he sold it to me, bless him, not without a Tony Wall quick look over
  14. Thats a lovely present to treat a lady to. Its great that more and more ladies are starting to shoot in the comps. Roll on the Spring meet. Nothing worse than when you wife / partner whips your butt Simon. You may think it will never happen, but i bet she smashes you at least once.
  15. Just a quick visit yesterday to catch up with a old friend. After reading the things I have been doing about a very good friend of mine (Tony Wall) over the past week or so I decided to take a trip up there to see him. Tony doesn't go on forums or the internet much so I thought it only right for him to address some of the comments. Lets give the man the chance to tell it as it really is. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GApfyZMLoY8
  16. Yes mate. Tony as only made the Imp so far in .22. He said its because its harder to get the power to where he likes it with the .177 small spring he uses. The spring in the Imp is just a bit longer than a bic pen so I'm told. Due to it being small the recoil is very minimal VM. Im just uploading a demo of the Imp now (not the full review though).
  17. The rifle is £375 tuned with small stubby silencer. The photo is me with a HW silencer fitted which is about 2 1/2 inch longer than the standard Imp silencer. Not sure why Tony called it a Imp mate. Ill post a photo of a standard Imp with the small silencer. No VM with the stubby fitted its around the size of a Ultra.
  18. Thanks lads . I think the best shots are not always the longest shots. I find hitting a small target at a modest range (35 to 40 yards) in a wind is far better than hitting a rabbit at a longer distance on a still day. One of my best shots is a small map pin at 55 yards with my 98 followed by 2 x .22 calibre empty cases 1 after the other on camera with Mawders watching at 55 yards. Max its best not to talk about your longest vermin shots in a forum buddy, we all will have that magic shot but its best kept to you and your close friends, not on a forum. Long range targets
  19. Guys just so you know. Max is only about 14 years old, I know him and his dad owns a farm that me and Davy are going to shoot on soon. I know his question will seem strange like a penis measuring question but please take his post as not wanting to cause hassle and as hes just interested.
  20. I couldn't resist buying this baby today after shooting it up at SFS. The new amazing Imp. Just changed the stubby silencer for a HW silencer to keep it looking like a HW. I think that this is the best .22 vermin hunting springer I've ever shot with accuracy to complete with the best.
  21. Sandwell tuned rifles are amazing. How many people have to prove it before the doubters start believing. Im just uploading a episode of VHTV from my trip today to SFS. The Imp is amazing.
  22. I witnessed Davy shoot a 8 mm bell target last Saturday at 47 yards in a breeze with a SFS tuned springer. One of the best shots I've ever seen. That takes a lot of skill.
  23. Mines carbine Max, its Davy's that full length. I like the carbine better. Mines .22 and Davy's is .177.
  24. Ive been told RWS Super Domes shoot very nice in the Imp. 5 shots and a 6mm hole. Ive found RWS Super Fields very good aswell as H and H FTT and the new Webley FTTs.
