Why do they market the Pro-Logic camou clothing as 'silent, soft touch fabric' and then go and put noisy bloody velcro on all the pockets and flaps? It totally defeats the point.

Do any of you think that the colour of your nets make a difference. I've seen some that are really bright yellow or orange and don't like the idea of it. I use green because it's more camouflaged. What do you think?

I know what you're trying to get at but Kay is right. The tick may carry an infection from another animal and the blood it sucks in will mix with this in the stomach. When you squeeze it, the blood it's just sucked up AND the infection it was initially carrying will go back into the bloodstream.

I just put my thumb over the holes when it starts getting loud. Sometimes, if the ferret's a long way away, you only pick up on a small click/blip that you may not hear if it was taped up.

Get to your nearest agricultural supplier and buy a couple of boxfuls. They come in strings of 12 so you get 6 hours with a rookie going off every 1/2 hour. I suppose you could fuse 2 strings together to get a 12 hour burn. I reckon this bloke's lucky there weren't any antlers involved, he took quite a pasting. I wonder if the deer is best mates with a kangaroo judging by the way it's fighting. Bet his mate with the camera was thinking "I'll help him just after I get some footage, I can get £250 off Beadle for this."
