well i have whacked in for the 243 today for fox/deer . see what the almighty has to say.

omitted ? no just new to rifles and not realy sure of the do's and dont's shall apply today for 243 land is passed upto a 308 i have 12g/22rim/17hmr/222 cf/ on it ..

i thought because i started with a mentor on a 222 i would have wait to finnish this one first before i could apply

i finnish with my mentor in 2 weeks after 6 mths on a 222. now how long should i leave it before i put in for a 243 for fox/deer .

i use a bsa 222 for fox doe's knock them flat. great little rifle'

when i put in for my fac .i realy needed a 243 for fox but was told by so many experts i needed to apply for 22lr then 17hmr then 222/223 do a mentor bit 6mths then apply for 243 .only to be told i will now have to do a mentor thing on the 243 .crikey i am going to be 103 years old by the time i get to where i want to get to. . it just seems a lot of graft to get to a 243 .now been told i could of applied for 243 first day i am going to need another gun cabinet the way things are gong. my fao isnt really that helpfull doesnt advise me on anything really lol lol.
