i mean freelander in it's class ie: xtrail / crv etc.. ok the freelander isnt a proper 4x4 but arnt you the slightest bit impressed what it can do?

i found this on the tube and i have to say seeings the freelander is on slicks and the vitara is on muds with mods, the freelander done well. i also spoke to someone who done a round the world challange in a freelander and he said half the problem with freelanders if they are not used off road often things pack up and dont work as they should. obviously old petrol ones are a no no anyway but is there anyone here who has used one with any kind of success , yes i know they will never beat a defender etc but in there class how would you rate them
