    dan , i understand you asking a question but the law is the law and you just cant do it , it's like using live pigeons for decoying (you just cant) silly if you ask me as long as the bird is fed and watered i cant see a problem.

    olim , i noticed your from hertfordshire ... i knew a hotspot there once for cat accidents , the cats always seem to be getting run over in the same spot ........ under a bridge going over the A10. none of them had collars on so they must of been ferals

    must admit i do like the hmr , messing around on a zero session at 120 yards the hmr was bang on the size of a £1 coin but i think the rimfire or .22 mag will do it for me as i like my windy nights and it doesnt take much to knock an hmr well out we was been talking about the mach2 today and im yet to have a play with one but ive heard they are getting storming write ups and no crack like the hmr

    standard laws but it is a mine field , you need a good insurance but even then the council wont like you killing anything on site in front of passers by ( round here a firm was told it could only live trap) the process of getting it would involve sending in your tender and may even having to go to parish council meeting etc.. it will only take one person to complain and you would lose it all anyway as councils do not need that sort of attention.

    i done a greylag for xmas alongside the turkey and it went down a storm , cooked it the same way as the turkey and stuffed it with a whole orange and whole onion to keep it moist
