Good topic this, I have a 7 month old bitch which im bringing on she is a 3/4 grey 1/4 whippet. I live next to a golf course which has a fair few bunnys and long ears on, they are like rockets. good fun to watch the dogs have a run on them. she is about 22 tts at 7 months so hoping she hits 25 tts. her coat is no diifferent to my collie grey X whippet. looking like she throwing more to the grey which is a bonus in coat and size for me. she is a flying machine and her drive is starting to kick in now. out for a mooch with my brother this morning, will try and put some pics on later. atb

Just wandering lads I have 3/4 grey 1/4 whippet bitch pup, she is 4 and a half months at the moment. when is she more than likely to come into her first season, I have a lurcher dog who is just over a year. don't want no accidents, so planning ahead. hopefully got some where to keep her for a bit when she does. just want to know what you think as I understand it varies dog to dog, and dogs with a strong sight hound genetic make up come into season later. What you reckon ? is it a myth or fairly accurate. Cheers

Cheers some good replys there, the dogs would be probably worked on a bit of lamping and mooching/ bushing etc, in a bit of a bobbery pack really. My mate is considering it so need as many anwsers from lads that have done it, Isnt there some one bringing on two bull cross litter mates on here ? a black and tan, cheers

Right here we go .., Any of you lads/ladies brought on two puppies for working at same time , read the books and I know they advise against it. Any one had good bad experiences doing this ? . This is for a mate who is considering it, told him there was a link on here some where but can't find it so restarting it. Cons and pro's ? opinions please

I have got a collie grey X whippet (sooty sam lines), 11 months old spot on with my daughter who is 2, dog lives in . reckon that a better cross than collie whippet 2 , better on the lamp 2, ask rory 4 lol, Mate I spent ages looking , go for a nice home reared litter , where the owner has let his kids handle them. Does them world of good. Think there is a litter of beddy whippet X grey X collie greys on the for sale section my father in law going up friday 2 get one, 8 hour round trip !. that would suit your needs bud

cheers mate thanks for the offer bud, going to take it steady and take her around my bro's dog and avoid the place where it happened. 99.9% of the dogs are sound where I walk mine. the dog looks more like a elkhound x he walks with a bitch one and a pug, going to do a bit at a time with, she's a little sore but eating and seems in good spirits etc, playing with my other dog. cut my self a nice walking stick today 2. was fretting quite bad earlier and read some doom and gloom on the internet earlier on cheers for replys from all lads appreciate it cheers
