  1. What a great couple of gennuine people ., I could talk to the them both all night. its a shame we didn't have longer and managed to get hold of a baby sitter, Hopefully you'll come back soon either in the Hunting season or just social stay. Normally this time of the year my head is completly shot worrieing about the birds, it was good to get out and forget about them for a while. I was looking forward to getting out up the pub and getting thrashed one night with Millet but another time in the future hey mate . Great weekend with great company! what more can I ask for..... Cheers Ja

    GOOD BYE

jeff.s Thats a big shame mate , I feel just like you at times with these birds! expecially this time of the year when things are going wrong breeding the bloody things. I must admit as I have aged and now in my 40's my enthusiasm isn't what it used to be but when the Hunting season kicks in I always start to get the itch again to either go out with the gun or fly something. I hope you change your mind mate. Jasper
  4. loosen off the Mount rings and mount the gun how you would regulary and feel most comfortable, then slide the scope back and fourth until you hit the right Eye Releif and see the whole picture in view, you might have to just rest the gun while you do this but Bill88 hit the nail on the head .....
  5. No probs mate it wasn't aimed at you , just trying to point out if someone on the forum is taking cash for goods and then not delivering them then we all need to to know not to deal with them, they should be hung out to dry for us all to see on the forum ... Cheers Jasper
  6. Anyone who is f*****g someone over and not produceing the goods after being paid should be exposed! I for one would want to know about it so I never deal with them and get f****d over too ....
  7. Wow I would'nt want to be in the water with that thing! what a fish , makes you wonder just what a fish like that would take when its Hungry.....
  8. I don't know so much mate! there's alot of these Posh ladies in the Hunting faternity who are gagging for it from a bit of rough , there'll be a sell out in Vibrator batteries if a Calendar of us lads hit the Market mate ....
  9. I reckon a calendar would be a good move and boy would it sell. I'll also bet the LAC's would do the same shortly afterwards! they would hate the idea of Hunting being promoted plus taking money even for charity. One thing if the Pro photographer can't make it I reckon I should be next in line ....
  10. Time for a THL 2008 calendar lads! how about the ladies get their Cammy suspenders on and have a shoot with a decent Camera man? I'm the cameraman . the Womans Institute did it a few years back and some of them was getting on to 70 , the woman on this forum would shift plenty through out the Hunting faternity no probs and put this site and hunting way above anything else on the map. we could also do one with the lads! with Ditch Shitter as Mr January on the front cover to bring the Punters in ...
  11. I had a Hybrid <Pere x Prairie> pull its shoulder Foxdropper and it took a while but it recoverd but not fully, that wing always hung down slightly and never realy crossed back over its tail, the bird still managed to fly ok though. alot of people take tem to the RSPCA but them hypocrites will only put it down if it can't fly properly to be released again, this place here normaly have people spread over the country who care for Injured birds! there's a guy down this way in Wisbech who works for them and they care for alot of birds but I'm sure there should be someone near you who wil

    Hawk Poem

Just been clearing out my Keep Folder and came across this: NATURE'S LOAN I'll lend you for a little while, A beautiful hawk of mine For you to care for and enjoy For an unknown period of time. The years, they may be ten or More, or his days they may be few. But will you, `til I want him back, Treasure him as I do? He brings with him my secret truths And though his demeanor's wild, You'll form a bond most unique Like a parent with a child. I can't say how long the loan will be, Since all from Earth must return, But with each day there's lessons taught Through hawks
  13. Norfolk

The Golden Lion at Hunstanton has certainly seen some action mate, I don't know if you Remember a club across the green which is now demolished which was called the "Kit Kat" that was one place with a bad reputation! we went to a Pub called "The Wash And Tope" a good few years back and walked to the green oposite where the old peer was and boy there was one big punch up wich was better than what you see at the old football matches , there was windows smashed in the kit kat and cars smashed! the whole place was a bomb zone... I still get up there over the summer with the two kids who love i

    Norfolk

I was brought up in Kings Lynn and lived there all my life Mucker! I did most my courting around there and had some good sport in the night clubs ! you're not far off about Hunstanton being a shit hole which is about 16 miles from me, mind you its tidied up a bit now with a bit more talent there compared to when I was a teenager shagging eveything that moved in a skirt ... I take the countryside for granted but whenever I have lads down flying birds or shooting I'm shocked how excited some get when they see things like coveys or Grey Partridge or land moving with game! the fecking

    MODs

I used to have a white Vespa PX150 when I was 17 - 18, it was my Bay with PX blazed down the from of one side of the front fairing and a Target on the other side, I also had crome crash bars and a back passenger rest , never had all the Mirrors on it though. I know this much it was a real Fanny magnet and boy could you pull some shag back then in 79 to 82 if you had a scooter . I remember rideing down to Hunstanton to meet some mates on my own when the local grebo's came screaming up behind and along side me, there top man was called "Flick Colby" and not a guy to f**k with! I'll

  21. she's a bit wayward at the moment but thats down to me, that'll be sorted though when I put the time in sometime this season....
  22. Nope!!! Oh mate she could be stressfull, she calmed down alot now but to be Honest a Brittany or Springer will be full of beans and Hyper active. this Brittany crashed through any sort of cover! I dizzied and planted birds for her last year in all sorts of terrain and she made in and pointed, my problem was holding her back and not Bumping them up but this will be cured with a check lead... It used to crack me up in the first few months how it would point flys on the wall and come on point over its bowl and even pointed the Hawks in the weatherings, she now knows what a game sc
  23. She's about 22 inches at the shoulders.......
  24. I have a Brittany Bitch here which is now just over 12 months old, she'll work all day just like a springer and has a strong pointing instinct but boy is she a handfull! this Dog compared to the Terriers with run all day and also still full of beans earley hours of the morning, she's always the first to wake up and barks the place down which is a bit of a wind up , apart from this and totaly destroying everything in the Garden I'm sure it will be a great dog once I harness its Pointing Instinct without it Bumping things up after a few seconds of pointing, this was her at about 15 weeks.......
  25. Too true , for some reason we groom our up and coming fighters on Nobodies or has beens far to long! they do their best to con and brain wash the British public what a class act they are by showing us all these demolishions in less than 4 rounds, even the papers rave on about this stuff to brian wash us even more! then the big crunch comes when these carefully groomed fighters are stuck in the ring with someone decent and its all over.... Its happend for years! I can rememeber all the hype about Frank Bruno and watching him KO nobodies within 3 rounds, then came the acid test when he fough
