Here in Norfolk we like nothing better in June to september in the season to get out and eat Seaweed, Samphire is the stuff. there's nothing better than to get out on the Marsh earley in the mornings or wetland dunes and pick it, get it boiled up with some butter, Salt and vinegar , Here's a link to it and what it looks like. anyone else ever tried it? http://www.bbc.co.uk/norfolk/your/a-z_norf..._samphire.shtml

    Fanny

Cheers Guys ! she's a gennuine nice sensible Gos!! the bird was 2lb 8 1/4 when the pic's was taken and came out of the aviary bang on 2lb 11oz's. when I first took her us she came down to 2lb 7 to feed off the fist but then with all the worries about her going down ill and the antibiotic treatment I pushed her back up and she has still stayed fairly steady and still feeds off the fist no problem. Its the first time I pushed her in the front garden but she was pretty cool, she had next doors dog on the Balcony and a good few cars flying past which tightend her up but that was it, finished

    Fanny

Fanny's been soaked a few times since my last post chubs , She's now nice and dry after spending most of yesterday afternoon perched on my post . Seriousley though she has been treated with Antibiotics and now Sporanox which finished the end of this week, I'll then push forward and get her going, I tried her out the front for the first time and she was fine! she pulled well on the glove and stayed completely focused without getting too spooked!! I won't push her until her course of drugs has finished and then It Rock N Roll .....

Its pretty simular trying to get a decent answer out of Micky boy!! there's only ever going to be one winner hear and that Micky, his views are set in concrete and no matter what we'll never sway his own personal Judgement ....
  17. Classics ! I love getting this stuff off my chest with lads I knocked about with over a few jars or whatever, it arouses so many memories it brings it back like it was yesterday. Its funny how we can all be at each other throats sometimes in Disagreement, yet when we read into the way most of us got started and some of the old stories that got us there we all have a common Bond "HUNTING" and wanting to hunt!! its in our blood.... Its just sad that generations today won't get the same freedoms we had as kids, alot of new laws has made life difficult for the new up and coming field sportsman

  20. Got my first Air Rifle at around 10 - 11 handed down to me from my brother which was a old Milbro .22 but was never allowed to use it with him or the old man about, I also had a Gatgun at this time too which they let me use and what a lethal peice of kit . obviousley back then in the 70's there was alot more places to shoot and alot less gun crime so as long as you had the land to go on you wasn't ever bothered, so I progressed to some better Hunting Air Rifle from the BSA Mercury's and Airsporters. I was also well into the birds by then too <Feathered one's>, and had Jackdaws and al

Thats fine by me old mate! I'll not be loseing any sleep over it. anyone who comes on the Forum and calls everyone else Wankers just for making a Opinion is Sad as f**k. its a discussion Forum and yep it gets heated with abuse thrown both ways sometimes which is life but some take things to the extreme which fucks it for others. Hows the old Cliche go now? "if you can't stand the heat get out of the Kitchen", sez it all really....
