It could have been better mate but I'm pleased as she is down on 4 again .... This is Basically what I have left egg wise, I have one female still laying and the Pair yet to recycle with the Goshawks, the Blue eggs are Goshawks the brown Pere's! the others Pere's are in the hatcher..... ATB Tony

Got the three out Horris! there was four but I made a arse when I placed the tray of eggs back in the Grumbach, I caught a egg on the turning arm and cracked it, I gave it a whirl but it stopped mate .... This is the three out ... ATB Tony

You're right mate a good spray with bleach normally does the job!! Calgon lime scales remover also works fairley well ............ Jasper

All my Imprint Breeding pens are basically the same as this but with smaller windows and galvinised steel conduit bars at the windows! Bars are good and stop them smashing themselves up like mesh! Plus I can put my hand through bars to help bring the birds into condition......

Yes mate two out now and one now in Pip and in the Hatcher . Just had a Goshawk down and looking rough in the aviary, she missed a egg a couple of days ago but is still standing for semen so I feared the worst that she had gone egg bound... she was pushing as if she was either constipated or perhaps a egg stuck but either was getting more and more stressed as it went on, I took the decision to syringe some Liquid Parafin into her and felt the Lump inside her and milked it out! this is what finally came out which must have crippled her! I have had this before which is either a Calcium Ball

Nothing surprises me mate there's some seriouse Rude b*****ds about. I went down to a big Breeders in the late 90's who had some youngsters working there for him on some schemes! I was there picking up a Gyr x Saker but while I was there for some reason he wasn't happy with the way these two young Girls was gutting the chicks, with that he walked over to one snatched a chick of her and threw it down on the floor in front of her and called her everything, she was a kid of about 15 and I thought then by f**k I wouldn't have had him speak to my kids like that Job or no job..... Nice one Horris its a result . just had my first one out tonight and another in pip in the Incubator, the other two hopefully should pip in the next couple of days, the pair are now down on the second clutch.... If I was you without being too greedy I would double them up if you have a Incubator or foster birds! pull the first clutch after a few days of Natural and get her to recycle giving you two clutch's in the one season! having said that some Harris's naturally doyble clutch weather pulled or not,,,, Give me a sec and I'l get some pic's up of the one just out Jasper

You probaly won't beleive this weejohn but I had the same thing only from cold and thought the worse! I contacted a service department where the car was previousely serviced and they said a new timing chain had been fitted and tensioners! so it ruled that one out.... The next advice I was offered which turned out to be bang on was to tighten the Alternator belt and others! so I did and the noise went . aparantly if these belts are slightly loose they cause some slap in the fly wheel making this noise, this slap disapeers when the oil pressure is up and only comes in on a cold engine...

I watched Match Of The Day last night Gnash and watched in amazement as both sets of supporters clapped each others Goals.... when tevez hit his screamer the West Ham fans aplauded and vice versa! there's was alot of Mutual respect at that Match with Fans and Players.... Never thought I would say this but I'm a Mags fan now Until Monday night ......

I couldn't fault the females last year Will... all the problems stemed down to Semen!! Basically not enough of it... This year they've been fireing which makes all the difference but I do have less eggs than this time last year! either way I would rather have less eggs but more fertile and Hopefully more will Hatch but we'll see! I'm not tempting fate and sumiseing what might Hatch and it all goes tits up ...... Tony
