    this is stan, out of d b s' "brit" & a bitch from up country. i dont know of the lines! not into em much, ( id forget em anyway!) just out of worker to worker! he shows great promise, but the proof is in the pudding!

    ive thaught long & hard over this guys, due to my wife going back to work in october after taking a year off for maternity, (im just not gonna be able to work them all) & me allready having 2 other lurchers, my collie grey is up for sale! , willy - bob is about 15 months old, is 26", good head, teeth, feet, coat & is a real nice friendly, socialised dog. hes broken to ferrets, & sheep. ive been out a few times this season with him, he catches well (great strike), jumps well, follows the beam, comes straight back on a miss, retrieves, & is very very soft mouthed! i must str

    went out with dbs for a shine last night. i took hela he is a first x bed ,grey he only caught 8 rabbits but not bad for his first time out and all retrived live to hand. plus he came back straight away as soon as the lamp went off, as you can imagine i am well chuffed and cant wait to get him out again,let you know how he progreses

    , was out with my 2 lurchers for a walk yesterday & 10 minutes in the pup jumped some barb & miscalculated! , she wanted to carry on, but i could see a flap of skin hanging down, had to call the emergency vet today! hes a good bloke & he said shed cut some muscle as well as the tear! 13 stitches & £110 lighter (wich i thaught was a cracking price! call out, anasthetic, stitching, pain killers & antibiotics & a lamp shade!lol) she was sorted! should heal well! thank god! :thumbs-up: good job shes got a while till her debut in the field!

    hi paul, two crackers you have there, heres my bitch at 7 months @ 23", ( the same way bred as yours, pure grey sire!) & litter sister to d b s's dog crunch, who, like he said is now 26" , but the pic of him is a good 6 weeks old! just a couple of pics for you to see what yours may start to look like! cheers, rhys. a couple more

    chief, i assume you speak welsh fella? the name translates to "hunting" or "to hunt". yes you are right it is a little odd! i try & call my pups a welsh name if i can, but doesnt allways translate well! e.g vixen = llwynoges, the welsh pronounciations dont roll off the tongue well whilst on a walk! allthough my 7 month bull grey bitch is called "carw"! lol!

    this is hela, my half bro's dog! he came out with me lamping bunnys a few times a couple of years ago, & was hooked, or so it seemed! , we eventually persuaded his mum to let him have a small lurcher of his own! , (bearing in mind there are 2 samoyed's in the house!) he wanted a rabbiti'n & general moochin dog & liked the beddy whippet! so it was decided! i found a litter in leicestershire & they were just right! saw the parents & braught the pup back! shortly after his mother left him & his sister with his stepdad for another man! this screwed his head a bit & w
