  1. Take it you never found your dog, Wish i could help you out, If i had a dog to give i would happily give it to you, I lost one of my lurchers last year for 2 days, that was long enough for me. Luckily i had her back but i couldn't imagine how you feel the not knowing is a nightmare. All the best cheers, youre right in what you say, (the not knowing!).
  2. like it! i love this girl, but fair play she says the truth!
  3. a lurcher with saluki blood and up on the leg, fast & up & at em type, kennel quiet, most game, adolescent or adult. pm if preffered. cheers.good working home waiting.
  4. no news. ive rung everywhere, time and time again. gutted. ive got on to a fella who knows a few of the travellers, to see if they know of any dog around the area!?
  5. got to agree how many bull x men and saluki men use them for going out ferreting or the smaller game with success and how many bull x bring their game back to hand without it being crunched ie a rabbit mine! the white & brindle one, time after time, all the way in, no ribs broken.
  6. we went back up to try & find him, and looked everywhere, thankyou to buddy, & phil h for giving me a hand, and a special thanks to d b s for making the journey back up to look for him! i also rang all the pounds, rspca, police, & more importantly the local council, then and also again today! no joy. im sure if he is taken in to any of these agensies, i will see him again, cause ive informed them of his ear tatoo! so also a thanks to chester, & s j m for having the insight to tatoo him! this yet may be his saving grace! (fingers crossed)!
  7. I would have to agree with that.Breeding for breeding sake and why from that Mastiff or what ever it is.It is obviously not of a working type.I think in this case the lights are on but thers no one at home sadly. But just think if you hadnt seen the pics you may have done some serious miles to fetch the pup,and imagine your suprise when "The hound of the Baskervilles"was presented as the dam.Worse still you didnt get to see the bitch but thought it ok because the pup looks bully so off you go to waste 2or3 years of your time. too true!

  19. Did some research into this years ago because my 1st bitch was 3yrs old before she came into season but was regular as clockwork after that, Apparently its the greyhound blood thats the cause. Some greyhounds are notoriously unpredictable when it comes to coming into heat. My fawn 3/4grey 1/4 collie only had 1/2 a season and never came fully into season she's 10yrs old now and never came into season. Had her to vets and there's nothing physically wrong with her. interesting! she is 13/16 greyhound! , perhaps the high percentage has something to do with this!?
  20. yes, in the grand scheme of things, providing, she is still as she is now in a couple of years!
  21. how late have some of youre lurcher bitches come into season? mine is coming to 2 year old soon!! yet still no season, here she is with legal quarry!
  22. they are buddy, trust me, they dont like rain either! but are decent enough rabbiting dogs as long as the fields arent too big!
