  1. but as usual all never went to plan as thepoacher decided to go off road in a transit lucky help was at hand
  2. went out this morn with the poacher to look at some new land not sure how many acres but its a fair amount to cover, took the 2 terriers and 2 lurcher's. Was a good day in good company, and to finish the day off hounds were hunting same land. A few pics

  8. defiantly a pure greyhound, if you get the right one they are very good and excel on bigger stuff pre ban of course
  9. went out last week and we slipped the dog on a tight squatter once up we knew it was a young hare, luckily we knew the field etc, so just switched of lamp, it seems a common thing now

  11. was a great night all around, hopefully a revisit in a couple of weeks
  12. had a cracking night out with the lads, wind was at a minimum but managed to bag a few with remus and jess, overall a good night
  13. get with the post mate ...... Ok, I'll get with the post, the post says 'heavy', well lets face it, no heavy (as in weight) can catch much at all. As for first crosses, well run at the right weight and they'll do the job, week in week out. Take the Pie dog as an example, as it's blood is so frequently mentioned in your dogs make up. The pic that has been posted on here, taken in Scotland, did that look too heavy to catch foxes, he was a genuine half cross?   17. i just use a kids squeaky toy and cut out the plastic middle part, works a treat

  19. get all my wormers on line from Hyperdrug, excellent service
  20. i use drontal and milbemax, but alternate from 3 months, so drontal first 3 months then milbemax next 3 months
