  8. nice job! defo put a roof on theres nowt worse than a dog turd thats had 2000mm of rainfall on it! looks good mate, but if its not to much hassle, lift the run to throw a course of bricks under it, the wood will not be on the ground so will not hold any smell and will last a lot longer, washing out the run will be easier too as the mess wont be hitting the wood ! good luck.
  9. Thanks Glad you like her mate, but i bought her last week !! but only collected her to day from labsnlurchers, this bitch is in great condition, ready for the lamp. cant wait to get her out for a few runs. (feckin frost, cant wait till it clears to get out and about)
  10. (Just picked her up today) Thank you labsnlurchers, she has meet my other pup and they are getting on fine, leaving them to it for now , to see if she will settle in the kennel, "so far so good" no crying / howling any way, its a good start. my lads think she is great, thanks again for keeping her on for me, it wont be long now before she is putting on the working boots and doing some graft, (picture of my pup attached, 7 months old as well) pure killers !!! Thanks again.
  11. THANKS!!any idea wat height he`ll be Even at the height he is now he has shown great promise as a good worker, A dog will grow till 12 months approx, and fully mature at about 18 - 24 months so i would guess another 2 or 3 inch tts, so give him plenty of time as he might be doing great but his lungs and heart e,c,t need to develop too, Ive seen good dogs burn out if run to hard to young. Keep us informed on his progress, here is a pic of my new pup, 7 months old.
  12. Great looking dog mate, at eight months its good to see its doing the job give him time to mature physically and don't burn him out to young and you will have a great dog for years to come, Good luck.
  13. [what height is she tts? has she had any rabbits day or night? thanks.
  14. If you can do some day time runs with him (ferreting) it might be easier for him to click and build confidence, but at that age not noing his true history he may of been run to hard to early and lost interest, like a hare dog which jacks, once a jack-er all ways a jack-er good luck, don't give in to easy and if you do end up looking for another dog see it on the job before paying as there is a lot of dogs been passed on for one thing or another !!!

    puzzel

A black dog is sleeping in the middle of a black road that has no streetlights and there is no moon. A car coming down the road with its lights off steers around the dog. How did the driver know the dog was there?
  16. Just so sad to hear, I would love to find words to help ease your friends pain, but i would search for ever and still be silent. My thoughts and prayers will be with this little boy and his loved ones, "Rest in peace little fella"
  17. Watch "man about dog" you should be able to rent it from any vidio shop. great crack mate, good coursing in clonmel.
  18. copy the pics you want to edit into a new file so the re-sized pic is saved separate from the original. Right click the pic you want to up load, then click edit, then click on image, go to stretch skew and 2 boxes appears stating 100, delete 100 and replace with 35 in both box's, click OK, now go to file, then save as, chose a name for the picture, and save it, do this with your pics, then they can be uploaded with out photo bucket. as they are now resised. hope Ive explained it right mate, good luck
  19. I used to sell them but for what the butcher says he will pay (about £1 - £3) "my rabbits are for the pot" Apparently they have chinese breed rabbits now, (feed and breed for the food chain) the butcher gets them, cheaper, but still charges over a fiver to the pensioners. lidl supper market sell two hare legs at over £6 now and again!!! there into every think that sells.

Hunting with out permission (poaching) seems to be the crime of the century, even amongst a lot of hunting men! but if you think how strong you feel about hunting, and cant believe the law tells you not to hunt with dogs, then think a poaching man will risk breaking the law, getting trouble of a farmer, any thing really just to see his dogs run because that is all that matters, "Then the poaching man should have just as much respect as a man who is told he can walk across the field" "FAIR PLAY TO ANY HUNTING MAN poacher or not" Soon the lurcher/terrier man will welcome any one who hunt
