  1. your dead right lad id normaly wait till seven to eight months and with an experinced dog hes taking bull shit i.v got dogs in my run that was catching ferreted rabbits at that age it depends on the pup some pups are more advanced than others Not for me bud, each to their own. Fair enough out with the dogs for experiance etc but to lamp or ferrt a 16 week old dog with milk teeth is not right. They are your dogs, and you may have been lucky but a dogs bones are not strong enough, there lungs and internal organs are not developed properly and to me its a recipe for disaster.
  2. Fcuking disgusting, pitty the bloody police aint got note better to do, and to say that people hare coursing are all involved in serious crime, b*****ds. Wonder how many false alarms they're get where the general puplic can't tell the difference between a rabbit and a hare being chased.
  3. Sure way knacker ya dog up, besides at 16 weeks they aint got their adult teeth yet, if say a pup caught something its not going to be a good experience when the poor b*****d gets it teeth ripped from it head, scar it for life mentally. Personaly I think let the pup be a pup let it develop, there's plenty of time.

  15. My dog is 10 months old now he's slow coming on compared to other dogs i've had. when he jumps he tends to jump on top of the gate or what either he's jumping and push off with his back legs instead of a clear straight over jump. Do you think he will get out of this and does it really matter if he don't ? Cheers.
  16. No thats one good thing he don't yap, he's had a couple of mixy rabbits but he's a sod for retreiving live stuff, he's ok with dummy's ect. I think he will come good, he still seems very puppyish at the moment.

  20. i'm havin the same problem mate, have a look at this email attleborough accessories sent today. "you possibly need CP84 Supa-soft oil but try this first; The tail needs to be worked between finger and thumb whilst still damp, so starting at the tip of the tail manipulate the leather by gently bending, and twisting and work up to the top of the tail in a similar fashion. What this action does is to loosen and stretch the leather giving the softness. The more it is worked the softer it will become.
