    Hi Hope someone can help, i'm looking for a book that i read years ago, but i can't for the life of me remember what it was called or who had wrote it, i think its based around a mining area either yorkshire or wales.. I'm just hoping someone might recognize a story from it. Its about a bedlington terrier who's owner used to trick unexpected strangers in the local pub, by laying the bedlington on the bar and hammering a nail through its ear, unknowing to the strangers the dogs ear was ripped and had healed with a hole in it, so the owner use to win bets in doing so. A mate of mine went to buy one and was told if you want it as an earth dog dont buy one. i had two many moons ago and wasnt impressed.wouldnt go to ground, ratted but not well. rambo was owned by s staley from staffordshire,he was a k.c bedlington registered name "maverick of minkstone".there was alot of hype about this dog around the early/mid 90's.i owned a double bred grandson of his(my first & last bedlington)not my cup of tea to be honest.at the end of the day,it depends what you want a dog to do,and if you want a terrier for doing a real terriers job,then i'd say the be

  13. I've got a 7 month old bedlington wich i've had from 9 weeks old. He has Rambo lines, and i was wondering if any one can give me any info on Rambo, and if possible some pics please.
