  1. I asked for a new first aid box as a stocking filler, hope I don't need it anymore eh!
  2. How are they shaping up anyhow? Now then Brimmer, they are coming on well, the hobs ok up to the point where he wants to do what he want, the jill is still very nervous, slightist little thing and she kicks off, buying new locator to replace old one tommorw, then see about popping them down a few holes, next week, then its up to them, still keeping them even if they dont work well, but I think they will be ok, I'll keep you posted mate.
  3. I was pulled by a land owner I clear rabbits for, for carring an uncovered gun on a bridle path, it was'nt me, so I had to go to riders property so she could say it was'nt me, land owner was very p****d off with me until he realised it was someone else, now I inform him about anything suspicious.
  4. corn been choped down Cheers mate, just wonderd, all the land over here has been drilled now.
  5. My MK2 packed up not long ago, buying MK3 with two collars from here tommorw, £175 for locator and two collars, not a bad deal, then see if they are better.
  6. I've obtained a new hob lately, he's getting vasectomised no mater what the cost, plan to get the money back from charging £2 for his services per time, that way a lot of people will benefit from him, the times I wish I could of pulled and charged £2 a time, lucky little git.
  7. Not seen any of these before, good idea!
  8. Very nice Brimmer, another good result for you mate.
  9. What was growing in the field you are in?
  10. Do they do the ferret clothing in Realtree, perhaps my fezzer's could sneak up on unwary rabbits that are catching a few rays eh!
  11. Is that a buy it now offer, or are you expecting a feirce bidding war?
  12. I dont breed that many, only if I need a few extra, problem with that is, if the hob eats the kits like it did mine its a pain more than a disaster, so I take my hob out to stop him doing that, maybe its just this hob and others are ok, I just dont take the risk with this particular hob.
  13. Not good to use chipboard outdoors, it turns into Weetabix in no time at all.
  14. All pregnant jills kept together seem ok, only problem I've had is when I left the hob in too, goodbye kits.
  15. A dog like that would be no good to me, if you cant turn your back on it to do something else? how many times has someone just appeared from nowere when your out in the field, if they have a kid or a smaller dog you could wind up in court and banned from keeping animals, or worse.
  16. Think they stay underground anyway during the day, regardless of the guns, you have to dig if you want the stop enders out.
  17. Has it got Dalmation in it?
  18. Welcome, you'll make friends on here, a lot of people are interested in terrier's on here.
  19. Nice size fish, very ugly! but most things that ugly taste good for some reason.
  20. not a lover of using too many chemicals on my ferrets, anything put on the fert, gets absorbed into the skin, even frontline, most are some form of PERMETHRIN, which is a pestacide, used for killing things, relying on something in a tin, does not give you peace of mind, that your not slowly poisoning your fert That's why I like alcohol, it just evaporates, my ferrets like to lick each other.
  21. Split the food up into two piles, the hob can only be in one place at a time.
  22. Like Kay said, check out back threads on this site, and read something about this subject, or better still ask someone who keeps ferrets who lives near you?
