  6. your a luck man to have hounds entering at six months. as i said depends on dog and when i mean entered i mean drawing cover not hunting a line in the open.
  7. it depends on the dog really some enter by twelve to fourteen months others will be nearer second season before penny drops. you'll know by end of next season yourself wether or not to hold on to her for second season. we had three welsh x harriers two turned out to be very deep scenting hounds with a great voice and would have to be dug from an earth sometimes before you could enter a terrier. hope this helps, y.i.s sionnach

  12. its on the local wexford papers last week and on wexford local radio as well. just takes a few c**ts to ruin it and put the pressure on the rest of us who do things by the book. all i can say is there a shower of wankers.
  13. look know your probably new to the dog game but theres more than one way to get two fighting dogs apart. as was said kicking only makes things worse the dog gets more worked up. as for shooting it the law still stands your in the garden of a dwelling so technially your dad would be breaking the law and second if the dogs are fighting he'd more than likely shoot the two of them if its a shotgun he's using. your dog should of been locked in as well as the huskey in a dog run. as there's been alot of sheep killing in the wexford area. glad your dogs on the road to recovery.
  14. yeah, but here in eire we have a totally different set of rules. we have alot more rules. and gardai around here are fairly strict.
  15. spudsk 100, the short answer is no. if your dad did shoot it and was found out your looking at a big law suit if the owner finds out. and lost of your dads gun for firing it so close to a dewelling. you can't discharge a firearm with in 60 yards of a house or centre of a public right of way. hope this helps. hope dog is on the mend soon,
