    Oh shit. I reckon my dog could have something similar after friday night,he cant put any weight on the leg and the top of his foot has swollen massively and has a hard lump where it shouldnt. I better take my credit card with me to the vet on monday cos it looks expensive.

    Any ideas about breeding lines that i should prefer or avoid as i dont want a jacker,what i need to know is about the failure rate among bull crosses. I wouldnt like to spend a yrar bringing on a pup that was no good. Ive heard tall tales about some that could do foxes at 8 months but im not sure i believe all the keyboard hunters that have a new dog every couple of weeks.

    I am thinking about getting a dog and i have seen some nice looking bull crosses but i want a dog that can run as well. What is the failure rate with bull crosses, ive seen a few pull up cos they have run out of wind and ive seen some jack fair and square but as this cross is in fashion at the moment there must be some good ones about. What percentage of this cross turn out any good. This is not an invitation to all bullcross owners to say that there dogs are all world beaters just a question aimed more at people that have seen them work.     When i was a kid in the seventies i remember that some teachers used to beat the crap out of you with a slipper,ruler,cane and in one case a wooden blackboard rubber.Some were just bullies. These teachers still had kids playing up.     Where do you lamp? I think you should come out and see some dogs run a few before mouthing off about bullshit, i have seen five caught regularly on the lamp on some real good hares mate. I dont think you would be able to buy one for a grand but if you have some money in your pocket bring it with you and we can have a small bet. As stated in an earlier post this was an exceptional night,in winter,around salisbury plain so dont keep on about what wont be caught.Your dogs may not be as good as you think you know its easy to become kennel blind. Why run rabbits on a golf course and take a chance

    Best bred is a matter of opinion mate, best workers well thats easily proven. Everyone thinks that the game in the places they run is the best in the country but i reckon its excuses for average dogs. Chat the shit out of that one.     I was in a paki garage waiting to pay when i saw the news about the floods on the tv screen by the till, the headline was 1500 DEAD IN PAKISTAN FLOOD, the old boy in front looked up and quietly said "see its not all bad news". The whole place erupted, i nearly pissed myself laughing, there was a queue of about ten people and everyone thought it was hilarious except the rag on the till.
