    never try and teach him to mark the burys mate as he will just end up false marking every hole to please you, just let him do hes own thing and you will learn to read hes reaction to differant burys if theres anything at home.

    Yer normally start mine around 6 months on nice easy small burrows and normally work them 1 at a time with an older more experienced ferret that knows the job.

    just wondered what kind of x this would be used for, seems bit much for rabbits and cant see what the whippet would add that a greyhound wouldnt for the bigger stuff?? im guessing they must make pretty handy lurchers as there seems to be a few around but again they seem to be a modern x as i dont see much of them in the older lurcher books, maybe im wrong so just thought id ask a few of you lads who know about this cross....

    To be honest mate this forum is 1 of the reason I didn't renew my subscription when I moved house. Love the hunting life forum but seems to be getting worse on here for people slagging each other off.

    Nearly everytime an advert appears on the forum for pups there's always some lads having a pop at the seller.. If no pups where bred then none of us would have dogs to run.and surely it's better to breed from your own dogs that your happy with than to buy in pups from puppy peddlers that's never seen a days work and that you will end up disappointed in..

    Hi just wondering if the magazine earth dog running dog is still in publication?? I subscribed to it for years but due to moving house in last 2 years I never renewed it and just wondered if it was still in publication ??
