    Seems to me the boy has bought a well bred bitch that he knows well and wants some pups from her to keep a very good line going in he's opinion so what's the problem?? Every time a litter of pups come on here there's people bitching about how wrong it is but how did you boys get the dogs your running now? Bred them or bought a pup in...? If no 1 bred any pups there wouldn't be any to run.. Give the boy a chance to see if he keeps any pups before you all get on he's case. Just my opinion lads

    wheaten x's an bull x's are diffrent dogs imo, bred for diffrent jobs so to speak

    got a gsd who loves rats, he lays in the yard for hours just staring at them when they are around the shed until hes thinks there far enough away from safety then he rushes at them, seen him catch quite a few this way he seems hypnotised by them..

    Best dogs I've seen on golf course have been whippets or at least 3/4 whippet or 3/4greyhound and normally under 24 inches, seen pure greyhounds made to look silly on the short grass, seems to be ideal for the rabbits to twist and turn and there never normally more than 50 yards from cover.

    pup arrived today hes a cracker well pleased,top condition and well socialised, credit to you lads who bred and raised him.

    highly recommend lads, had pup picked up on time 8am from county duram and delivered down to me in portsmouth the same day.£75 worth every penny

    Pup could be anywhere between sire/dam or grandsire/dam, it's not easy predicting size in mixed breeds but normally be couple of inches differant between dogs and bitches in same litter. Sorry it's not an answer mate just so hard to predict in lurchers of mixed breeding

    I think falconry is looked at as a more upper class sport where lurchers are traditionally the working dog of the working class..

    Seen quite a few dogs pick up injuries crashing into cover on the lamp. But on the other hand there's nothing more annoying than to watch a dog pull up behind rabbit as they are nearing cover

    Me and my mate had couple about 4 years ago mine didn't have and prey drive at all ended up finding him pet home my mate still got he's claims its best rabbiting dog he's ever seen.
