  1. Aye Iv seen worse mate. These pet folk trykng to sell 'Champagne' ferrets for 30 lol...aye right!
  2. Iv got 10 kits for sale (6 hobs 4 jills) polecat hob father and albino jill mother. Kits are a mix of binos and poleys with possibly silver in there too. Also a previous litter has 2 poley jills left. Aberdeen area(collect only) and they are £7 each. Cheers Jordan
  3. It took me a while to introduce my dog to the ferrets as from a really young age he was always eager to chase things regardless (he was never a hunting dog he was a rescue) He would snap at the ferrets at first so a muzzle was introduced which partly helped. But the key turnaround was when he went for my big bino jill and she turned round and gave him a set in the chest/leg, now he respects the furry stinky things and will move out of their way (kits and adults) but thats just him. And I definantly wouldnt trust him alone with them (common sense) Cheers Jordan
  4. Nice one folks. I'll try the sewing idea. My dog just pulled it off when I mput bands on it. (he needs to learn to be more gentle i know! lol) for it to dry off at the mo. Cheers Jordan
  5. Exactly people like them make me sick! We do just borrow him but its not like they'd care if he never came back. To them he's just something they show off to their friends at partys saying they 'saved' him. (they got him when he was 2 as the breeder just took him off of the previous owners. He was found wandering the streets and the breeder nearly ran him over) To be honest I think he would have been better off wandering like a stray free to roam and enjoy life to the full. Id love to take him but my dog doesnt get on with him unfortunately because chewy (the lab) was never properly socialise
  6. Ok thanks. His pads are real soft, I forgot to mention but we're walking him steadily on some good clean concrete and plenty on grass. Cheers Jordan
  7. Well a long story really. My girlfriends neighbours have a champ bred black lab (working and show parents) he was a really good pup healthy happy etc. but then the owners got bored of him and the novelty had worn off. these are the kind of people who shouldnt own a dog they havent walked him in....well years! My girlfriend walks him as a walk for them is to chuck him the the tiny back garden and them beat him for shitting in the garden And he was not allowed to walk on the grass and had to walk on the stepping stones on the grass (or he was beat senseless) He is left in the house for more
  8. How do you attach a rabbit skin to a dummy? Iv tried using a sort of twine just wrapping a round and round but it falls off. What would be the best?? Cheers Jordan
  9. He's not a pointer but he goes on point when marking a warren or anything interesting really. Here he is pointing out a warren over a drystone dyke. He also does it if he spots a deer or fox (before he decides to try chase it!) Love the pic with the deer kiwi great shot (with the camera lol) Cheers Jordan

Does anyone know where will went? It looks like someones been fannying around with his profile as it says under interests that 'I am now a veggie and take in baby wild rabbits to look after they are soo cute' huh Cheers Jordan
  12. Every snare that I use has a break away on it (ESPECIALLY the fox ones) Iv had my dog caught in some useless twats snare before as it was set on a bloody footpath! So I do respect where I put my snares, a lot of thought and planning has gone into me setting this one fox snare (i've thought of the other ways but a cage trap draws too much attention according the the landowner and lamping is a no no) ATB Jordan
  13. Nice one what if there is no fence line for example this photo How would I get the snare down there? A closer look Cheers (sorry to jump on your post by the way lol)
  14. Are those big ones legal in the UK? I know the little ones are fine (110's etc.) but I doubt its legal to take fox with them is it? Cheers Jordan

  20. So I take it that the lurchers can tell a wild from a pet??
  21. I noticed ages ago that some folk here had pet rabbits. I take it that you also hunt them with your dogs and do you keep the dogs and rabbits any where near each other (in the same house in the garden together) or do your dogs just want to kill them? Its an odd question but its been annoying me for a while lol. Edited to say I dont actually have any Im nae a fan but I find it interesting Cheers Jordan
