I aint been posting anything in a while cheers for keeping me on ,i do come on and read the topics which are great to read, its just ive started a new job and been busy finding looking for places to go behind enemy lines (found some nice ones too i may add)which could do with a trip out or two So thanks again Ian i,ll post a bit more in the future :ok:

Went out on a boat out of Hartlepool on sunday,free of charge ,Whilst everyone stuck to their rippers,jiggers and muppets i stuck to my old tried and tested method of long traces and bait to the amusement of everyone else and only using feathers to get mackeral the bait .And what a cracking day i had catching codling,mackeral,pouting ,whiting,coalies,several ling smallest being about 5lb and the biggest in the pic ,to a monkfish which was the first time id had one of them beasts.Not only did i get the most fish on the boat i also got the biggest

Very scary profession, my youngest brother worked on one from leaving school and he loved it hed get back in if the money was still there.One of his scariest moments was when the skipper thought he had a lot of fish under the boat through the finder so he swun the trawler round only to find it was a wreck of another boat! Over it they went nets snagging on the wreck and the back end of the boat being towed into the water at a fast rate(he said it was like the scene on jaws 1 )he shit himself and was hanging on for dear life he said, luckily the wires snapped before they get dragged down any fu

    I have the same problem with the old terrier over fireworks time loud bangs from the neighbours gardens mate he doesnt hide just annoys the hell out of us by barking and running to the back door all the time we just turn the tele up or if we go out leave the radio on loud to dampen the noise a bit which is the best cure i found.I once got some of them calming tablets from the pet shop for the lurcher who kept trying to go for the vets when it came to booster time after reading the directions to use, it takes a few days to start working after that she was as doped up as the local druggy with

Top bit off kit Frank you wont be dissapointed once you get use to the noise :11: ,i was out of the ferreting scene for a while when i use to use old mk 1 and bit the bullet so to speak and bought one with two collars when i took it back up last year.Like yourself i was in two minds which one to get but was warned to stay clear of the mk 2 straightaway and has the other lads have said also found them easy it to use :thumbs-up:

  23. i have the same problem sometimes mate when shes not stripped, its either a case of pulling them slowly out or its quicker to cut them out with scissors.How much is she covered?
