i have a 5\8 beirdie ,border mix 3\8 greyhound she is 7 1/2 months old hope to start her in januery just wonderin if any one got this type of lurchers and what are they like on the lamp thank you

I did notice that he has got a bit of a cut on his leg that i think he got of a fence. Did she eat at all becose he hasnt eaten dried food since yesteday morning but he ate a rabbit today.

She said that she would do a blood test if i have to take him back in a week. If hes still the same tomorrow i might wel take him to get a secod opinion. Cheers lads

Just wondering if any of you lads on here have seen these symptoms in any of your dogs before. I woke up this morning to find the lurcher pup having trouble breathing, his breathing was shalow he was also weak and his eyes a bit glazed. So i took him to the vets and she done chest x-rays and said she couldnt find what was wrong with him so she gave him anti inflamitorys and anti biotics and said that if it dont get better in a week to take him back. Any ideas!!

They've been extinked for years mate. They used to be bred by the drovers that used to dive stock from Norfolk to the slaughter houses in Smithfield London for poaching. They used to cross Smithfield collies with greyhounds but the Smithfield collie went the way of the dodo. They recon theres still strains going but they've been outcrossed so much the'r nothing like the real thing was.

for the life of me i can not imagine why any body want's to lamp bird's to shoot as all's they do is f.uck of as soon as the light hit's them.. Millet Not with a nice dim light so that you can only jest see them and/or a red filter :whistle: :whistle:

it is quite good for a dog to be active helps wit reteving and dont start the dog to young because the earlier they start earlier reterment.

i agree with you but a dog to be able to work the long net and gate net and i have read in plummer book a there quarter bred collie greyhound collie is one of the best allrounder and you can get this from hancock.
