  1. This is going to be a good close fight (hopefully) but I thought that before Bellew vs Clev.
  2. I'm a big believer in peds and blood lines, so I know what axle is saying. On the other hand I have a choco dog here that I have had from six weeks old (a bit too big) with a full ped giving parents, grandparents, great grandparents, great great grandparents and so on!! But who knows?? Only the man that was there at all of the linings! But that man does not exist, because there isn't one man that has been at all the mating's.
  3. Cheers Joe, I have been down the local merchants today and they told me about Cesspools which have just one entry point with no soak away but just needs emptying regular, maybe that's the way to go.
  4. Can anyone help? Is there such a thing as a cesspit tank that does not need a soak away? Where we are its not possible to put in a soak away because the water table is so high and it being to close to the brook. Any advise would be great, Cheers.
  5. If I had it my way I would never see a choco again!! for no reason other than I like a black dog!! and The the best dog I have ever seen was a black dog!! (stevensxstevens) and even worse the dog does not appear on any ped I own!! But I know that I saw and I would like to head that way!
  6. Magic!! there's no such thing!!! A smooth coat can be produced, a good head can be produced but every man born that can read this should look after a line of terriers that can go to ground and stay with out bull blood obvious in the pedigrees (please read pre posts)
  7. There are plenty of patterdales that can hold their own, with pedigrees going back years, and years, and years with no known bull blood in them!! In my opinion adding bull blood to a patterdale is Laziness!! put in the time and effort to find a line that sticks true to the breed. Anyone and I mean anyone with half an idea could breed a terrier that can be dug to by adding bull blood (because the prey drive is so high (which it should be!!)) But digging to a terrier week in week out, several times a week with no bull blood (or very little which is nigh on irrelevant) that only takes stick wh

  9. There may well be, but just don't put any more in.
  10. I cant understand why any one would put bull blood or any other blood into a Patterdale! If that is needed the patterdale should not be bred from in my opinion and a different patterdale/line should be looked for.
  11. bunny burgers were great after 4 of them I'm still hoping about! everything well priced I wasn't ripped off at all with anything which makes a change. I bid on quite a lot of things but didn't win anything, anyone organising a show should think about an auction, it was a good laugh and it had a captive audience. Will be back next year.
  12. Ideation call up the Hall one night and speak to Neil he works on the roads and I think he has a good job in the department he maybe able to help you.
  13. Ideation!!! Where we going? are we leaven Wales? Is the terrier work? Is there beer? If the answer to any of these is Yes I'm in! haha.
  14. Good mate, getting used to us and the collie dogs now! Im sure its better hearing a fox than them b*****d Buzzards near the birds, at least we could do something about old Charlie.
  15. Haha, they are safe don't worry about that.
  16. I just put the T.V. on pause after the 90 mins to have a smoke, I walked over to Heinz and H.P. (the two young pigs) and as I leaned on the stone watching the ducks and geese getting ready to find a quiet place to get their head down I heard that sound. About 200 yards up the stream in the cover that not even a black bird would like to explore I heard a fox screaming. The fields have been mowed today next to the pond and the field running the length of the farm along the stream, I wonder if it had any thing to do with the call? It doesn't matter how many times you hear it its still a great sou
  17. Good show! The game fair wasn't massive but it had all you needed and more, as there where a few things that I have been looking for for a while that I have found today. The terriers in the best in show in the morning all had to have won something just to be there (but the last 6 were the only one's needed and I got booted out on the second cut haha) both the Russell and the chocolate bitch that came first and second were smart dogs credit too both men. And as I have said on this topic before it was the misses birthday and she enjoyed it, probably down to the fact that on filling in the entry
  18. Anyone know if the lady in the terrier ring that was taking the photos has a web site with photos of the day on it?
  19. looking forward to it now, spoke to a lot of lads and there seems to be a lot going.
  20. The Misses has just reminded me that's its her birthday on the 22nd!! I'm sure she will enjoy a game fair. haha
