1. My old bitch retired now, she deerhound/grey x colliegrey, put to beddie/whippetgrey,
2. went outtonight for a quick shine, cold and still could have heard a pindrop, hard to get on stuff when its like this, no good for a young dog either as the temptaion for the long slips it there and can soon f**k a young dog learning the lamp. I had one slip - one longears, and came home, just a quick shine, was a good 2 min course nearly went out of the beam on my striker.

5. SAVE THE MONEY OFF THE PUPS AND BUY SOMETHING THAT WILL ACCTUAL CATCH SOMETHING NOT JUST MAKE [bANNED TEXT] LOOK HARD DOWN THE STREET, p,s THEM DOGS LOOK LIKE FAT f*****g LABRADOURS , WHAT U HUNT WITH THEM GAINT TURTELS . AND PEOPLE WONDER WHY THERE IS SO MUCH SUCH SHITE IN THE LURCHER WORLD ! OH SHIT MY CAPSLOCK IS ON, sorry.
6. Approx- 84% Greyhound, 9% Bull and 6% Collie, I think. What about the other 1%| .
7. Lithforce variable stiker 170, the best allround lamp available cannot be improved upon, apart from the wireing which is actually an easy fix if put a ziptie tightly around the cable behind the red bung at the bottom so it prevents the cables from being pulled at. Theres no milage on making a better lamp than the above, imo.
8. Common in saluki and saluki crosses my mates dog is the same, but when its on quarry its a different dog, its covered in scars on its legs chest ears and face ONLY throu coursing going through hedges, jumping fences and the dog doesnt bat an eyelid, but if you were to stand on its foot or raise youre hand to it she would tremble or wimper, sensative mentality, extreme huntng instinct and preydrive.
9. Red for me. Here's a thread about filters that was on here a couple of weeks back. http://www.thehuntin...howtopic=130511 if you have a decent dog you wont need a filter.gods sake no wonder theres nothing around give them a chance to get away they sit there and wait for the dog to pick them up with the colour filters.weve had some big bags lately and never used a filter hahaha......have you ever heard of lamp-shy rabbits?? no matter how good ur dog is it wont come close to 1 mate haha i have, well if you chase them you should catch them (decent dog) then they
10. Its called a saluki or saluki x mate,, also not a bright idea to put up on a open forum that lads are on the fens,
11. yeah they are gamy ive also had bull x now i keep deerhond crosses and a wheaton x in my eyes they make all rounders heres a pic of my deerhound wheaton hound bitch : 3 years heres is also a pic of my wheaton hound : 15months ATB FH nice dogs mate, prefer them to a bull x anyday, proper dogs them atb
12.

Lets see youre dog mate. its a good cross the 3/4 grey collie.
13. your right mate all mine learned....go under or go through take it to a fence or a gate that it cant get under or throught and leave it their it will cum eventually coming eventally is no good when cousing quarry, it needs to be drilled into them from a early age, so it second nature so they dont blink or hestitate one bit, theyve got to jump on the run imo or they aint worth taking out in the day. Lamping is different aslong as u dont have to pic the dog over fences at night thats fine, but for daywalking theres nothing worse than a dog that dont jump and go through stuff.

21. At the end of the day you dont ask a 100 meter sprinter to run a marathon do you ! Hares dont run flat out from the off they run in accourdance to how there being pushed by the dog behind them, they try to conserve just as the saluki does when he runs prey, this is why they are the ultimate hare killers. There are some hares that no matter how fast the dog or how long it can stick, there are not getting caught. I carnt beleave the shite posted on this thread, lmfoa.
