    i have just come back from a 2 day fishing trip fishing off the isle of lundy, (fishing with mike dyer, atlantic blue out of minehead) was a great weekend we had 15 diffrent species all in all, the biggest being a 45lb tope, many other species from bass pollack conger rays wrasses bullhuss and loads more. so this time of year is a good time get out there as it is the transition period where the summer fish are still here and you have also got the chance of the early winter species eg cod n whiting. so its a good time to get a trip booked. fingers crossed on the weather will try get s

    i have finally decided that i am going to get my self a another gun dog. but this time i really want a spaniel, and i am stuck between a cocker or a springer, could any one give me some advice on which one would be better for me. I do alot of rough shooting so i am looking for a dog that doesn't mind flushing and also able to retreive. i have always been told the dog for this is a springer spaniel but recently alot of people have told me the cocker is more adaptided to this kind of work. any help will be great regards outdoors.
