Hi all, anyone intereted in a Yukon NVMT 1 x 24 night vision scope, Day scope adaptor and an IR This is everything you will need to convert your normal day scope into a Night Vision hunting tool. 6. Hi mate i live in Shoeburyness i do a lot of my hunting with terrier and guns on my permission locally and during the season i follow the Essex Farmers and Union hunt who are a fine bunch of people where are you? perks mate there was no mag or ammo any where near it has not had a round through it yet taking it out in a bit to zero it in thanks for your concern though . Edited to say read your profile hotel, your in halstead nice bit of country up there. a little way from me then! i'm often at colchester if you fancy hitting one of the horse farms, i often get 50+ in just a few hou
  7. same difference. the HMR round burns out with-in 16'' so its personal prefference, weight and if your shooting from a motor, the 16'' will be easier to handle. price wise, when i looked just after christmas, the 16'' was about £65 more than a 20''. the 20'' will group tighter, but i'm talking 0.9mm at 100yds - so you'll never really tell. A great round and the CZ's are great cheap rifles. Hotel2zero
  8. well done mate - you will enjoy. I also have the same rifle and have been very happy with it since i brought it. where in Essex are you?
  9. hi all, need some advise please. looking at buying a Yukon Gen1 scope and a DSA adaptor. if i was to put a 100mw infrared illuminator on it, how far would i be able to see in total darkness and starlight? Cheers all Hotel2zero
  10. Have a bump - thats a great price, esp for a new one. Best of luck
  11. Cheers, if i had the time i'd be at the polo farm every night. I sort of gave up hope until harvest time, but really pleased i found this place. I'm going late afternoon today, may stay till after dark, we will see. I'll take some pic's of the land later.
  12. After the usual 'slow down' in rabbit shooting due to most of the land i have permission on being 4ft+ with crops, i went in search for some new shooting ground. Drove into a few places to and from work, then while taking a wrong turn, ended up at a 300acre polo pony farm. Introduced myself to the land owner, walked the land with him, and WOW, i lost count of the rabbits in 2mins, i mean 100+! The land hadn't been shot over for 3 years and to say the rabbits have moved in is an understatement. Massive amounts of damage everywhere, banks collapsing, burrows in the middle of the fiel
  13. hi all, looking at buying a Cobra Merlin night vision scope with a Day Scope Adaptor. best price i've found for the unit alone is £389 from uttings.com however the IR Illuminator is where i come unstuck. I'll be shooting rabbit out to 150 yds at night. (well hopefully!) -what mW will i need, 75mW, 150mW, 350mW, 450mW? -can i use any IR Illuminator? a 350mW IR Illuminator from uttings.com is £249 that seems a lot??? And underlining all the above, is this the cheapest route for a DSA/add-on scope? Thanks all Hotel2zero
