Just aint having any look this week at all... Went out other night with pup walked first field and wire pulled out of lamp so that was the end of that night Then got call last night off a mate and went out for a walk with pup an his 2. give him 1st couple of slips only for both of his dogs to get cutup...aint got a clue how so again that was the end of that but as still early thought i would pop out on own...only for lamp to pack up again Got lamp going again now so gona give it nother go tonight....wish me luck

Why not try going back to the start like u would a pup?? find a few squatters and keep it on slip and try and walk upas close as u can so it can see it. As for not coming back and hunting up had same trouble with pup and i got it in a big field that it cant get out of let it off then when you recall it if it dont start coming run other way ...worked for me ..same at night turn lamp off and give it a call if dont come back try shining on yourself then turn it off and start walking away ...once they think they gonna get left behind they soon start coming back Hope this helps....DEX :crazy:

Can anyone give me a little advice on dealing with a cut on dogs leg...PLEASE??? Been out tonight with pup as brother inlaw fancied a mooch and when got home found 2 cuts on dogs back leg just below joint....can only think as the 1 run he had he took a good spill and must of done it then....its not much and have cleaned it nd it looks ok and aint bothering him. was just askng if anything else i can do just to be on safe side????? cheers DEX

good to see the lad out....ANOTHER LURCHERMAN IS BORN cant wait for my 2 to get older and take them. As for charlie ...think i would of given lad a helping hand through the door and been straight back out to have a little play..

I love it when my mrs comes out ...she couldnt see the point in any of it till i took her fishing with me.... She is now mad for both fishing and lamping and always on my case to take her with me.

Thought it was time to show off my new pup. Had him a few weeks now and finally feels like we are getting somewhere. its been frustrating and hard work but worth it now. wouldnt come back at all to start then started coming back at nite but running off in day now comes back both with no fuss. Took him out with lamp few times and other night got his first and come straight back no probs ... went home with smug grin and amazing warm feeling knowing that little extra work was worth it :tongue4:

Got a pup here Grey x pressa really sounds the part and can be quite a handfull at times makes people think twice before coming through our back gate. And have no dought if we was out and anything was to kick off she would attack.. was out one nite last week and bloke came towards us on small track and she started growling and making herself known. And when first had her seen off a bloke on bk fence when just her and kids in garden..."went fookin mental"

dont let her start running em yet 6 months is deffo to early keep her on slip spoting. i have a 7month old thats as keen as hell but think she aint ready yet and a 9 month old that iv just started slipping on a few soft squatters. you will know when the time is right for her to start ...just enjoy her at the min...her night will come :thumbs-up:
