    Cheers for the input Shaun. I am learning towards a .177 because I can use it for a bit of target shooting and I can also use it for a bit of hunting.

    Do you own a XL tactical in both calibres, if so, which one do you prefer to use on rabbits, squirells, wood pigeon and other vermin. I am going to buy one of these rifles and intend to gas ram it.

    Don't quote me on this fella but I think the HW 100 FAC run at about 24/25 ft lbs and you get about 35/40 shots. If you only want an FAC PCP HW 100 is a good rifle, check out the thread on here though first, it seems that some HW 100 have accuracy problems, http://weihrauchowners.freeforums.org/late...bers-t1654.html

    Mark, for what it's worth, if I had an air rifle that I no longer used, I would be very tempted to do a deal with you, I am a fisherman and that is a lot of gear. I thought your post was sincere and genuine. Good luck fella.

    Just for your info, so you know what the price I pay for my 22 LR rounds, I just bought some Remington 22 lr hollow point rounds and they were £ 25.00 for 500.

    The only advice I can give you is use the humanoid target first that way you will get an idea of how much too adjust your shot because of the windage, the humanoid target is also the biggest scoring zone. It's not easy lads.

    From the film Shooter starring Mark Wahlberg, http://www.shootermovie.com/main.html then click on the wording game at the top of the page, then you will get two options click on the top of the two, which is Sniper Training Academy, then click on the words Play It Now, then click on play game, no need to register, if you get video clips just click Skip Video, this game is addictive and the most I have got is a tad over 301,000 from 3 levels, I have never got to the 4th level, good luck and let me know how you get on.
