  1. Hi, I also have a Deben tracer max 400m, the lamp itself is very light indeed, battery is a standard weight but you can carry the battery around on your belt, if you are going to get one, can I suggest you get one with a dimmer button, as this is very useful.
  2. Lets hope Michael will be along shortly and give us more gen and info on the big pike.
  3. There is currently a poll going on with regards to banning airguns, time to vote lads. Nothing to fill in just click No http://www.thisislondon.co.uk/standard-hom...r+buses/poll.do
  4. I voted for Shooting-sports only because, I think it sound good and I think it may attract others to the site by you including the word sports but what do I know lol. Good Luck with the new venture.
  5. On a positive note, glad you are ok. I am not going to preach about safety because we all appreciate how imprtant it is, the most important thing no one was injured.
  6. Dan, Hopefully someone will come along and explain to you what the no's relate to better than I could. If you are after a nice scope for not a lot of money take a look at the Nikko Sterling 4.5 - 16 x 50, they are around the £ 70 - mark, they have really clear optics, I am sure you will get more recommendations but you can always ring your local gun shop and ask them their thoughts.
  7. Shadow, that shows how much I don't know about dogs lol, I was thinking why you would call a bitch Charlie but hey lol, seriously though the sentiment is the same, glad you got Star back.
  8. Cheers Speedlamper, am I right in thinking that 600 billion dollars in about 350 billion pounds, if they are spending that just in one year, my mind boggles. Nobody can put a price on a brave soldiers life. Cads, that another excellent point brought up there, I am sure initial costings were around 2 - 4 billion pounds and look at where it is at the momemt and we haven't finished yet. Think f how much good that money could do for the needy in the UK.
  9. Mackem cheers mate. Speedlamper that's a great idea, one I would vote for given the chance. There is so much we could do if the powers to be took a sensical approach to what is going on, if anyone has any figures of costing in relation to us fighting over seas, would you post them please.
  10. Do you think that the recession in the UK could be helped if our very brave troops both men and women were pulled out of all over seas conflicts, I have given this some thought and I would not like to estimate how much these bloody wars are costing us a nation, I think we should start putting our own house in order before we carry on over seas. What are your thoughts.
  11. Thank you for the welcome lads.
  12. Glad you got Star back, although it must have been tough for you, you have to think about how Charlie was feeling. You kept your calm there with that nob head.
  13. Thank you for the welcome lads.
